With blood on the concrete A normal highschool, with normal teenagers in it. This environment is corrupted when a
creepy circus comes to town, luring teenagers in without them knowing it. The
ringmaster, known as "Darius" though most people know that his real name is Criss
begins to recruit some of the town's "freaks" for fun.
Darius decides that the town of Mercin needs a little fun. Some of the teenagers run away to
participate in the circus. Or just to hang out there for a few days. Like rebelious teenagers
do. But some stay with the circus, finding that they finally have a place where they won't
be judged by society's teenagers.
And so Circus Gothica sets anchor in the normal little town. - No powerplaying.
- No godmodding.
- Not much violence is needed, though Circus Gothica does corrupt the teenagers that come to it, so violence is allowed.
- Romance is encouraged.
- Darius doesn't date much. He does have boyfriends and girlfriends, but only if they are eighteen years or older. You can try to make him love your character, but I'm not saying you'll succeed.
- Don't kill someone's character without permission.
- Ask permission before you join the circus. I mean, you can't just suddenly become part of a circus. Ask Darius, mkay?
- Post, "And behind the curtain lies our dreams come true." if you have read the rules. ^-^
- No one sentence posts.
- Please, make sure that you put in the character's name in each post. I hate when it just says, ""Yes." He said, taking __ hand." Who the hell is "he?!" By the way, this is mostly required for people who have more than one character.
- Ask before you join. o.o You can post your bios and ask to join at the same time, though.
- No insta-crushes or insta-loves.
- No mary-sues or pity-sues.
- Do NOT drag all of the attention to your character. I HATE when people do that. If no one's talking to your character, don't make someone shoot him/her right in front of someone else just so someone will interact with your character. Go talk to people, dudes!
- I will choose three co-owners later. They will have as much power as I do.
- Don't copy my plot, please! D: Not that its much of a plot, but still.
- Don't make someone's character love yours, okay? Thanks.
- Yes, male and male and female and female releationships are allowed.
- School does exist, guys! You still have to go to it. ...Unless, you've ditched to go to Circus Gothica. :3
- For every girl there must be a boy. And for every boy there must be a girl. Unless he or she doesn't like boys/girls. o.o
- For every person in the circus there must be a regular person. Mkay? Mkay.

( HOLY *censored*. I was singing that song in my head while I was half asleep. xD I still am, too. Accepted. I call starting! >:DDD ) Darius swung his legs up and down, laughing as he did so. He was surrounded by boys, along with a few girls that happened to catch his attention. One of the males murmured something to him, and he laughed again. "Thats not true." Darius' voice was deep, but shrill, ringing in everyone's ears for a moment before fading. Another male whispered something to him. "And thats ridiculous." He frowned at them all, then stood up. "I'll be back. Don't stop the train, alright?" They were on a train, searching for a new place to stop. Out of no where, a sign appeared. It read: "Mercin. 1/2 mile" Darius smiled. "Sounds like 'mercy' doesn't it?" He said. A murmur of agreement ran through the small crowd. "Lets stop there, shall we?" Another agreement. Darius literally skipped over to the first car, tapping the engineer's shoulder. "Stop here." Darius commanded. And the train screeched to a halt. ~ Nathaniel squealed. "Nathan! I'm going to kill you!" He snarled, throwing his book at his younger brother. He laughed. "Sorry, Nath. Didn't mean to scare you." Nathan chuckled. "I didn't know you were a frady-cat." Nath rolled his eyes. "You know perfectly well that I. Do. Not. Like. You. Sneaking up on me!" Nath hissed, retrieving his book. They were shushed, and Nathan giggled. "Sorry. But you should probably focus on schoolwork." Nath rolled his eyes again. Just shut up. He mouthed, using his book to smack Nathan on the back of his head. And stop getting me into trouble, you idiot! Nathan laughed, and was shushed. Nath smirked at him. His attention turned to the window, where a train was p*censored*ing by. A freight train? What the hell are those doing around here? Nath thought, cocking his head and frowning at the window. The side of the train had two words that Nath was able to make out before the train disappeared: Circus Gothica. Now that drew Nath in. Maybe I'll check it out after school.

Sofie sighed. Just another frickin' boring day of school, with frickin' boring teachers, in a frickin' boring life. She shut her locker door and trudged on to History. Her life seemed to have the most boring crap in it. Parents met in high school, got married right after, had her. They grew Sofie up in the same town they met, and here she is now. Yet, in the pit of her stomach, Sofie felt something odd. Something...different was going to happen today, she could tell. "Sofie!" The teacher snapped, hitting her hand with a ruler, breaking her out of her daydream. "Sorry." She mumbled. Sofie never cared enough to learn the teachers names. It didn't matter anyway, she would forget them later. ^^^^^ Charade put her cards away as the train came to a stop. Finally here, eh? She thought, smiling darkly. The little heart locket around her neck swayed as she made her way to the front car, ready to get out. Mercin, the next "victim." What could possibly happen to the quiet little town? |

"Ah, Charade. There you are." Darius put a hand on her neck, smiling. The "choking" motion was sort of a sign of affection towards his recruits, but he guessed that they just thought he was threatening to choke them. Which he wasn't. "Haven't seen you in a while. Where have you been?" Darius tilted his head at the circus girl, his signature creepy smile still plastered over his face. ~ Nathan couldn't help but chuckle. Nathaniel had disappeared without a trace, most likely going to his cl*censored* on the other side of the school. Poor Nath had to sprint to his cl*censored*es, since they were scattered all over the school. Nathan's cl*censored*es were based in the same area, which made Nath furious. "Why couldn't they do the same for me?!" Nath would complain. "'Cause they think you're fat." Nathan would say. Then Nath would squish his side, panicking about whether or not he was fat or not. Yup. Nathan thought. Good old, girly-Nath. He laughed out loud after he finished, seeing that a girl's hand had just been smacked by the teacher. He loved it when that happened! ~ Nathaniel ran into his cl*censored*. Late. This particular teacher had a soft spot towards Nathaniel, so he was never considered late. "Hello, Nathaniel. Did cl*censored* end late?" The teacher asked. Nathaniel shook his head. "Nope. I told you already: My cl*censored*es are spread out all over the school and my last period cl*censored* is set on the other side of the school." He explained, dropping down into a seat. "Ah. Well, okay. Just open up your book to page one hundred and tweleve." Nathaniel nodded obediently, opening his book as he continued to breath heavily. This cl*censored* was closer to the rail roadtracks, and he was hoping to see another glimpse of the black, purple, and grey freight train. It gave him the chills.

Sofie glared at the kid who was laughing, emerald eyes shining with anger, but of course, she couldn't do anything. She turned around, this time trying to look like she was interested in what the teacher was saying, although she couldn't care less. Hadn't she seen that kid running across the school? Maybe there were twins here or something. They probably had an interesting life. ^^^^^ Charade smiled. Although she felt unfomfortable being touched by Darius, she let him anyway. She had seen him do it to the other members of the troupe. "I've just been practising. Never really liked being the center of attention." Her violent, feline eyes focused on her ring master. "So I'm trying to soak up the...aloneness before we have to preform." She said the word with savor. Of course, though, Charade had once had a regular life, but that all came crashing down on her, creating the creature she is today. But she liked her life now, filled with mystery, danger, and creepy things. Creepy things were the best part. A dark smirk curved her lips slightly upward |

Colette watched out the window of her cl*censored*room at the freight train like everyone else. "Colette! Pay attention!" The teacher snapped. "Sorry miss." she said as she slowly tore her gaze away to her teacher. "I should at least expect you to pay attention." The teacher sneered and went back to writing on the board. She couldn't wait to check it out for it had a pull to it. Then she looked back and read the name "Circus Gothica." I might as well go though with these clothes on I'll be water in a desert. Oh well. I have to get used to it. She thought and turned away before the teacher saw.

Darius frowned at Charade. "You like being alone?" He asked, sighing. "Lucky girl. I barely get a second to myself before I'm being surrounded by people." He snickered. "Ah, well. Thats what I should expect." Darius sighed again. "Alright then, move along, Charade." He leaned down over the female and kissed her, letting go of her as soon as their lips touched. A black haired boy watched them, crouched on top of a wooden crate. He had cat ears and a cat tail, and his ears twitched. Darius glared at the boy, and he blinked at the ringmaster. "Well? Don't just sit there. Go put up the tents!" He hissed, walking away. The catboy's gaze fell on Charade. "He's an odd one, huh?" ~ Nathan's eyes widened slightly, but he looked away, staring at the board. He yawned, stretching slightly, then the bell rang. "Yess. School's over!" Nathan said, gathering his books and taking a glance at the angry girl. "Don't worry, be happy~" He sang, grinning mischievously. Nathan bolted out the door, laughing. Nathaniel stared at his younger brother. He was dropping papers all over the place. "Nathan," He called, waving his free arm. "Nath!" Nathan called back, still laughing and grinning. He bent over, picking up his papers. "How was cl*censored*?" He asked, walking over to his older brother. "Bien, merci." Nath mumbled, rubbing one eye. "Uhh. What?" Nathan laughed. "Fine, thank you." Nath translated, frowning at his brother. "Don't you pay any attention in cl*censored*?" Nathan shook his head, and Nath sighed. "Lets go check out that one train." He heard a locker door creak shut. Obviously Nathan's. "Alright-y then." They stepped out of the school, Nathan fumbling with Nath's fingers has he tried to get his own around them. "Let. Me. See!" He whined, still struggling with Nath's hand. Nath let his hand relax, and Nathan got his fingers around it. "Be glad that most people know that we're twins. If they didn't, I'd smack you upside the head." Nath growled, walking towards the freight train. Nathan laughed, swinging their hands up in the air.
