Personality:Erm, we will see.

History: Her father was in the military her whole life so she is a military brat. She's lived in many different places around the world. When her father came home from a tour some of the soldiers who used to serve under him went insane and killed both her mother and father. She wasn't with them at the time and all of the attackers were caught except for one. They believe the one that wasn't caught is looking for Dani to kill her like the rest of her family.

She sighed, trying to push what had happened to them out of her mind.  If I had been there, I would have ended up dead like them. She thought angrily at herself. And I can't change the past so I should at least try to get used to this. Dani sighed again, walking into a small park. She continued to walk until she found a small pond, taking a seat on one of the benches surrounding it.

Jake climbed a tree in a random park. He hated how he lived in this constant reminder, enslaved and whipped furiously by his memories and dreams. After two years he still hadn't gotten used to the pain of his heart cracking, slowly becoming a black pit. He still hadn't gotten used to the emptiness. He still hadn't gotten used to being away from them. From her.

He shook his head, not wanting to think about that right now. He lie on his stomach, looking at the people below. He saw a girl sitting by a pond. Hrmm, something looks askew, he thought, tilting his head. There was something different about her, he could tell. 

She leaned forward on the bench, her head in her hands and her elbows resting on her knees. She couldn't do this, she knew she couldn't; being alone like this. Dani had never been alone before, not like this, she always had her mom or friends. But her mom was also gone and she knew absolutely no one here.

Dani raised her head and sighed, pushing herself off the bench. She had to do something other than sitting and thinking about it. No, she had to find something to do, keep busy until she adjusted. Something like exploring the town, getting to know it. It was after all, her home now.

Ooc: I have found my new favorite song ever.

Jake turned to watch her while she stood. Yes, there was something, but what? He rested his arm on the branch, supporting his neck. The branch broke, leaving him with nothing to hold on to. He free-fell through the sky, desperately trying to grab onto a branch. "Argh!" he screamed, thinking of the thud that was sure to follow.

Bic: Dani turned her head in the direction of a yell she just head. She wasn't quite sure what she was looking for, since this place had seemed pretty peaceful moments ago. Catching site of a guy falling out of a tree though, it was pretty easy to guess what happened. She sprinted over, wanting to make sure he was alright. "Are you alright?" She asked of couse.

((Oh my gosh. I hate to sound really mushy, but it brought me to tears. That never happens.))

Jake shook his head, sitting up. "Yeah, I guess," he said, running a hand through his hair.

Bic: "Oh, well that's good." She said, giving him a half smile that never fully reached her eyes. "I guess that'll teach you to stay out of trees now. What were you even doing up there? Talking to squirrels?"
