((Pause the attack, continue with Karrie and Alpha.))

 "Okay, then. Seriously, I don't mind looking at biki-- Yeah. We should head over to the mall." He laughed. "And milkshakes sound great." The car whistled down the street, the wind blew through Alpha's rust-colored hair. And, then something dawned on Alpha. He felt he had to say something.

"Karrie... did my imprinting bother you? Because if it did, look, I am really sorry. I really wished it didn't happen. Seriously. I wish I could have a normal life, with a normal way to fall in love. Maybe if I never actually imprinted--"
He wanted to stop, but he didn't. A single strand of sweat fell from his forehead, and he quickly wiped it off with one of his clammy hands. His skin tensed up, and his other hand formed a fist.

"Maybe if I never actually imprinted, we would be together. You and me. Maybe if there was no unfair interference, we would be perfect for each other. We would start our own pack, and continue on. We would have this perfetc little dreamy romance."

And he paused.

"But that isn't how it is. And we both know that. We can't kid ourselves. Things happen for a reason."

And he added something to that.

"Whether I like it or not. Maybe, just maybe, if I opened my mind, I could stop arguing with Jacoby. Get over Erin. Maybe be with you..."

But he knew, and he felt Karrie knew, that was downright impossible.  

((Arg. Alpha goes in for the kill, but oh, so much conflict in his voice! Like a soap opera. :O Wonder how Karrie will respond. Part of me wants her to say, "Alpha, we can make it work. We are for each other. I love you. We can do this." But part of me wants her to say, "Alpha, it's okay. You are right. We can't kid ourselves. We aren't right for each other. I will find love elsewhere, but you need Erin." SO MUCH DRAMA!!!))

Karienne chuckled slightly and shook her head. When he got in and got the car started she leaned her head against the window and turned on the car radio. 

'Kari... did my imprinting bother you?' she heard him say. Her face went pink. Well it took you long enough. she thought to herself. Before she could he started talking again, her brown skin getting pinker and pinker at every word. When he was finish she sucked in a breath. "I-I-I don't know what to say." was all she could muster. 

Sh was speechless. She had never thought Alpha had even thought of her in anyways at all beside another pack member, a friend. She bit her lip. She knee they could never be, with his imprintation, if that was even a word, and she would feel terrible trying to make a move on Alpha while Erin was away, as if there wasn't enough drama. She shook her head and looked away from him out the window. "Im sorry." was all she said, as she tried to hold back her tears. It wouldn't, it couldn't work. Imprinting was like finding the rest of your soul, at least the was how her father had described it, and Alphas was Erin. She couldn't compete with that.

As they neared the mall Kari wipped her eyes. "Just pull over here. I'll go buy the pants. You wouldn't know what style I would want." she said slowly, she felt like she would break don at any moment.  

"Karrie, stay in the car. Please." He pleaded. "Don't leave. Not when you are still upset. I doubt we could ever be together, and it just kills me how it may have been. And I have a feeling it does the same to you. When Erin returns, she can't know about this. We both know that. And we also know this is going to be our dirty little secret. That we imagined our lives together. But before you get out the car," He slowly pulled up to the parking space, "I think I owe you this, at least." He kissed her solemnly and sweetly on the cheek, tears flowing from his I eyes. "I love you. I will forever." He encomp*censored*ed her with a warm hug, and kissed her again, this time briefly on the lips. "Remember that. Remember that I will always be there for you. Remember I will never leave your side, despite the fact we can't be together." He stopped talkin for minutes, in deep thought. "Enjoy your shopping, Karebear." He whispered.

Okay, if I had to choose between Alpha or Asphalt, personally, I'd pick Alpha. Because I don't like bad boys. But that's just me. <3

Whenevver I read something in this roleplay that is incredibly dramatic, the sides of my mouth perk up. And I can't stop smiling for minutes.))

Karienne nodded, then went pink when she felt the kiss on her cheek. Then felt her breaking point when he kissed her softly on the lips. This was too much. Without saying a word she opened the door with her good hand and stepped out. She took off her jacket and tied it around her waist in such a way it would cover the blood, then she made her way towards the mall. She couldn't beleive it, she honestly did not think she could. There was no way Alpha loved her, he had never really payed much attantion to her since tonight. She shook her head and she stepped into the store. I'd better not tell Erin. She thought as she looked though the racks. I bet one of the mind readers will ruin it though. She sighed and pulled a pair of black skinny jeans off the rack. She checked the size then apporached the cashier.

"15 dollars please." the women said.

Karienne nodded and pulled out her wallet. Then she headed to the bathroom and changed out her whit jeans an into the black room, ditching her other jeans in the trash.

She made her way back to the car. She pulled her seatbelt on quickly. "I'm hungry. Could you take me to the dinner now?" she asked looking straight ahead.

Alpha wanted to say something. To make her feel less awkward. If he made a joke, it would be too obvious that he was trying to make her not feel awkward. If he said something else about them, it would make it more awkward. If he said he loved her, it would make him feel desperate. If he said nothing, he would feel rude.

So he had a plan. He started to hum a tune, and eventually sing. His voice was beautiful. It was clear, but natural. It was all over the vocal register, high and low, and had a certain "magical" quality about it.

All he could think about was love. Which was reflected by his song choice.

After singing the song, he realized how stupid he was to pick that song. So, he sang a different one.  Which turned out to be worse.

When he finally realized this song was just as bad, he hit his head on the headboard. So he decided to just talk to her.
"I am so sorry. So sorry for making you miserable. What can I do to make it up to you+  will do anything. Just so I feel better about it. Please." He wouldn't look at her. How awkward can a situation get?

Karienne bit her lip as she listen to him sing. When he was done she looked over and smiled. "You realzied you could have just sung like any Michael Jackson song I would have totally felt better." she said shaking her head.

She pulled out her ipod. (Yes she brings that with her everywhere.) She motioned towards the car radio which had that port to plug in an MP3. "You don't mind do you." she said. Without waiting she plugged in her ipod and put her on her favourit song, Animal by Neon Tree. It was really upbeat and would soo take her mind of everything at the moment.  "Yep, this is my new favourit song."

She started singing along.

"No, I don't mind!" He shouted over the ipod's music. It's the least I can do after beating your heart out of your chest and then stomping on the peices," he thought.

How innapropriate can these songs get for the situation? He thought. It's good that our dirty little secret isn't that big. He thought. Well, it's not like me and Erin are steady... He thought. Well, at least not to her.

Then his thoughts drifted.

I wonder if Jacoby still has the nerve to like Erin. After... this all. Oh, if he says he imprinted on her, too, I'd snap. First, I'd knock every single one of his 30 teeth out. Then, I'd break all of his limbs. Then, I'd poke his eyes out with a skeur. And then, I'd kill kill him and jump on his grave. 

Wow. Alpha, violent much?

Karienne didn't hear him. She was in her zone all things forgotten. She was bobbing her head to the music and looking through her ipod for another song. Hopefully something up beat and also by the Neon Trees.

She looked towards Alpha. He looked tense. "Hey, you okay buddy?" she asked an eyebrow raised.
