Calyx set her eyes upon the night sky. She had slept in, she was suposed to wake up Kohaku as soon as the sun had set. She groaned and turned to sleeping Kohaku. He looked so peaceful as he slept, she almost diddn't wake him up. But she knew how he would react when he woke up hungry. She grabbed Kohaku and started to shake him back and forth. "Wake up~" She said softly. Soon enough Kohaku has awoken, and wasn't exactly in the best mood when he found out Calyx had slept in. " Neh, its ok." He said. Calyx let out a sigh of relief. "I thought you would freak!" She admitted. Kohaku diddn't say anything, he just started to walk out of the cave, which was there home. "Where are you going?" She asked without thinking. " Oh, Hunting." Her face turned red with embaressment. "Sorry." Kohaku grinned at the human and faded out of view. Calyx set a fire and warmed up her hands. She took out her Dagger and set it on the other side of the fire. She got up, an walked calmly over to the cave entrance and looked at the shining starts. "Its so pretty here~" She smiled to herself.

Kasu blinked as the world shifted. She didn't know what was wrong with her. Her head spun and her whole body felt as if it was being ripped apart. It was even worse than the pain she had experienced before she died.

Sharp fangs dug into her lower lip, drawing blood. At first she was able to retract them, but now she was unable to. The taste of the blood made her feel even worse for some reason. Her thoughts had become muddled, and by now she was moving solely on instinct.

Kasu tripped over a tree root and gashed her hand open on a sharp rock. The new pain cleared her head, at least for a bit. Blood poured from the wound onto the ground, staining the dust red. The fledgling watched in amazement as the wound healed. It healed very slowly, but it healed faster than it would have healed while she was alive.

Kasu knew she was dead, but she didn't know she was a vampire. She didn't know that she had to feed every night, or else she would become sick and die. Her right arm throbbed, and she glanced worriedly at the blackened flesh. At first, she hadn't known not to go out in the sun, and she had burned her arm. She had no idea how to heal it, or even if it could be healed.

Instinct drove Kasu back onto her feet and forced her to move. She moved in a daze, not really seeing or feeling anything. A slight wind blew into her face, and she raised her head. Something smelled good. Kasu ran forward, all weariness and pain forgotten. She came across a young girl standing in front of a cave. A fire roared farther in. Something basic and primal took over Kasu's mind and she lunged at the girl with the intent to kill.

As the moon rose into the sky my hunger grew. I'm so hungry. Well I better go find something to eat. Tsuki changed into a wolf and raced off into the moonlit forest.

A half hour went by when I came across a camp.  My stomach growled in protest as I turned away. Did you here that said one of the campers. Ya I did lets go look said the other camper. When they came to the spot where I stood a few moments ago, they looked down and saw my paw prints. A wolf! They both ran back to grab their guns. Oh graet now i'm being hunted way to go Tsuki.

 Hours p*censored*ed after the hunters gave up there hunt for me. Now a new problem came across my path. It's almost dawn and theres nowhere to hide.

Calyx was still looking at the stars when she had noticed that something wasn't right. She released her gaze from the stars and looked on out of the cave. Complete darkness. She had no idea that she might die at any moment. She finnaly noticed a figure heading right for her. Calyx let out a scream and jumped behind the fire. She grabbed her dagger and looked frantically around. "Kohaku?" She asked, her voice trembling. "Is-is that you?" Calyx stuttered. Fearing if might just be another Vampire, and grabbed a stick out of the fire and waved it around. Her heart was beating so fast she thought it would pop out of her chest at any moment.

The girl's fear-scent awoke the demon in Kasu. She trembled, not with fear, but with lust. She hesitated as she saw the human picked up a burning stick. Her hunger was too great, however, and she charged at the human.

Off in the distance there was a scream. Tsuki decided to head off in that direction. First at a steady pace then an all out run.

Calyx was so scared she felt tears fall from her eyes. No! This Can't Be Happening! She thought to herself. Kohaku! She was too scared to call his name out. She waved the Burning stick around. "Stay Back!" She screamed when she got her voice back. "Leave me alone!" She cried, darting away from the Vampires reach and running out side. She tripped over a Tree Root and fell to the ground, her kneecap bleeding. Oh Great!

Kohaku, miles away from the cave where Calyx was being attacked, heard a scream. Was that-? No It Couldn't be--! Calyx! He thought. He left the Human he had been Stalking and ran as fast as he could over to his friend. In what seemed like hours, he had finnaly reached the cave and found out Calyx was laying on the ground Bleeding, and an unknown Vampire still in the cave. He standed infront of Calyx protectivly and snarled.

Crystal had blood dripping from her chin.  She had just drank blood from someone, and now she was wiping the blood off her chin with her fingers, then licking her fingers to get the blood off.  As soon as she finished, she heard a scream.  She immediately sprang up, and headed in that direction.  Soon she reached where the scream was coming from.

Kasu snarled at the new vampire. Her eyes turned a dark crimson with hunger. Her whole body shook from pain. She tensed for a moment, then charged at the new vampire. Before she got there however, a pale hand knocked her down.

Aeviki felt her fledgling's pain as her own. It was the pain she had gone through when she died. Her heart longed to help the girl, but Kasu had to learn to hunt on her own, lest she depend on others for her entire life.

The vampire turned to Kohaku. "I am sorry for my fledgling's behavior," she said solemnly in the vampiric language. "She is newly Turned, as of three nights ago. This is her first hunt." Kasu made a strangled sound and tried to get up again, but Aeviki pushed her back down.

Tsuki stepped closer to the one holding back the fledgling. "Tell me why did you let her out of your site in the first place."

Aeviki ignored Tsuki, keeping her attention on Kohaku. "I am Aeviki, Tarji's fledgling," she said, baring her fangs slightly at the vampire. "I am of the Old Blood." Tarji was the second vampire. He was the first fledgling of Ka, the first vampire. "Kasu is my first fledgling."

Now Aeviki shifted her attention to Tsuki. "All fledglings must go on their first hunt by themselves, with no guidance from another. If they do not do this, they will either die or spend the rest of their life depending on others. And if they do the latter, they will likely be killed by another vampire."

" I'm Kohaku." He said gruffly. Now what? He snapped to himself. I'm starving, Calyx dosen't like seeing me hunt, and I can't just leave her. I'm not going to risk another Vampire attack......He sighed to himself. What was he going to do? He could just leave her.....But what if someone else attacks her? Or that Fledgling tries to kill her again? He had to go hunting......He knew this. "Now what...?" He repeated more to himself than too the others. Calyx was totaly freaking out. he hugged her knees and hid her face. She diddn't know what to believe anymore.

"Hmph well the one who turned me did other wise. But seeing your an Old Blood you must be right and I apolagive for that." Tsuki changed back into her vampire self and went over to a rock and sat down. "Hay Kohaku if i'm corect I can see your in a bind if you want i'll watch over her. I need a place to sleep and seeing how there isn't very many cave's around mind if I stay here. And don't worry I don't drink human blood."

((if thats ok cause she drinks animal blood which leaves her a little weak, cause of her past she doesn't drink human blood.))
