Joan grinned at Dravius. "Takes a thunderstorm to stop ya, huh?" She nodded and started walking, looking for dead branches. She picked one up. "I can gather the wood, but that outdoors cl*censored* only taught you how to make a fire if ya got flint'n steel. You wouldnt happen to have any flint, would'ja? The swords, daggers should work for steel."

"Down and a few inches to your right." Dravius laughed, tying a tight knot around a tree limb. "That's why I usually camp here." He picked up a handfull of finger long black flint. "You just need to look. And no, I don't like thuinderstorms. They carry some bad memories."

Joan blinked and raised her eyebrows. "Oh. I see," She picked up the peice of flint and bounced it in her palm as she went looking for fire wood. "Seems like ev'ry ones got some bad ones."

Meka turned to Joan. "Come on, I will help you look for some." She walked towards the forest. P*censored*ing Dravius, she reached out a hand to pat his shoulder. A sad smile twisted her face as she shrugged slightly. Turning she continued on to the forest.

Joan smiled and nodded, blowing bangs out of her eyes afterwards. She too walked farther into the forest, humming as she picked up a dry branch the width and length of her arm. when she was done, she planned to break it in half.

Dravius jerked upwards as thunder crashed, and in the aftershock of the crisp air, horse hooves could be heard thundering. Whipping around, the escaped Monarch was face-to-face with a man astride a tall, black horse with bloodshot eyes in dark green armour, with a yellow dragon curling around his helm. Scramblign back, Dravius stuttered, "M-morga? What are you doing here?" The tall knight swept off their helm and long red hair tumbled to their shoulders, and a feminine face looked sternly down at Dravius. "To take you back, my leige." The last words were spat out with a sneer as Dravius grabbed Fenir's mane and swung up and the mare, whose reins were tied to Roisins. He kicked the mare and she shot off, pursued by the female knight. "Get on!" Dravius yelled as he approached Joan, reaching out a hand.

Joans head whipped around and she quickly dropped the branch, reaching for Dravius's hand. Just like the Indian Pick-up at local play-days, the momentum lifted her up behind Dravius and she grabbed at his shirt to keep from falling before settled herself, where upon she let go. She glanced back, peering through the rain that had started falling at the figure chasing them.

The female knight screamed and drew a bow from her back, lethal arrows whizzing past the pair. "That's my psyco sister, Morga." He grunted, yelling to Meka, "Meek, Morga's here!" Morga screamed again, horribly reminescent of her mother, the Queen. Her green eye were wide, and the black mare she was on screamed with her, pushing forewards with rage.

Moving her head as an arrow flew p*censored*ed, Joan gripped Dravius tighter to keep from falling. As soon as she got into the rhythem of Fenir's wild pace, she loosened up a bit. "I've heard of family problems," She ground out "But this is ridiculous."

Meka glared at the figure. Pure hatred burned in her eyes. "Back off witch! Go away!" She sprinted to her pack, yanking out her broad sword. Normal, she would never dare to use the huge blade, but nothing else would finnish off the giant horse and rider. Hefiting it,she yelled out to Morga. "Oy! Over here! Pick on someone yer own size!"

Joan glanced back over her shoulder at Meka, making a noise in the back of her throat, then looked back at Dravius. "She can take care of herself, ja?" She yelled at his back.

"Yeah, she can." Dravius said shortly, leaning over Fenirir's neck as she jumped a fallen tree, her mane whipping back into his face. Morga turned her enchanting yellow eyes, the same as Dravius's left one, on Meka and sgihted briefly down the shaft of the arrow and loosed it, The arrow whizzing past Meka's face, grabbing a few strands of hair with it. "Vhat do you vant, trecherey?" She said in a haughty german accent. "You are far from my skill leval und you haff never enen von a tournament." She sneered, hopping off her large war charger, and it seemed to sneer with her, it's shaggy mane dark as your worst nightmare. Dravius whelled around and vaulted off Fenrir, the mare continueing on her set path. "Maybe nit, he muttered to himself, and dreww a few arrows from his belt, fitting them to a bow that seemed to have magically appeared in his hands. He pulled the sring taut, facing his crazed sister, his forehead creased and feirce. Morga turned and smiled, her grin sickly sweet.

"Dravius!" Joan shouted as he lept off. She ducked under a branch and clutched at the piebald mares mane, setting her weight in her rear and pressing her inside foot against her flanks.

Fenrir snorted and turned, her hooves scrabbling in the dead leaves on the forest floor. She snorted and screamed, extending herneck as she pounded towards the war mare, her entire body pumping furiously as she panted towards the riderless horse. The other horse, whose name was Carnage, reared and screamed back, snorting and tossing her long mane in defiance, before striking out with her front hooves at the approaching Fenrir. Fenrir skidded to a stop before the iron-studded hooves of the war horse, which seemed to have large stell spikes protruning about two inches from the hooves, wickedly sharp.

"Ah," Joan gasped as she slid off of Fenrir's back, rolling as she hit the ground and jumping up. She figured that it would be best if the mare could maneuver freely. Thunder crashed overhead, illuminating the site. Well great. Now what?
