Leah waved good-bye to the wolves and Luicide, then looked at the humans-Well, Vampires, for tonight. "Everyone okay?" She asked softly.
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip.

Lanen laughed as she ran and slowed her pace. She stopped for a few seconds and sniffed the air before changing course. ~ Varian nodded. "I'm fine," He chuckled. "Never thought I'd be glad for Lanen to be gone."

Lucide chuckled. I would've done that anyway, Leah. Whoa! He cried out as he slipped in mud and almost lost his balence.

Felix heard them as well and laughed a booming laugh. Suddenly, he came upon five bull elk. The blood thirst took over him and he lunged at all five. They pointed their racks at him, but he shredded through them and broke each of their necks, one by one. He threw one bull elk at Lanen. "Here. These four are mine." He said with a laugh. He pounced on the first bull elk, demolishing it in seconds. That same went for the second, third, and fourth.

Then maybe I'm not a vampire...well, maybe I'm just special... Lucide thought back as he crossed a log, arms held wide for balance. He stopped and sniffed the air. I'm out to lunch. I'll bring somethin back. He chuckled as he jumped across the rest of the way, slipped on mud yet again, and promptly fell on his rear. ~ Lanen scoffed. "What's the fun in hunting if you do it all for me?" She asked, flinging the carc*censored* over a shoulder. She motioned at one of the others. "Want me to cary one, Mr. Gary Stu?" A smile.

That's right, you are certainly special. Leah thought with a laugh, before she looked at Varian and Serenia yet again. She felt guilty for all the others who were hunting for her, but she knew she had to stay with the vamphumans.

Felix just laughed. "Go give them their food before they starve and chase after us Lan." he laughed. He kissed her slyly on the cheek with his bloody muzzle and resumed eating.

Lanen wiped the blood away with a smile. She shook her head. "Lucides hunting for them...oh, but he'll probably take a while." She nodded. "I'll be back, then I'm goin huntin." With a small wave, she turned and jogged back to the others. Even if it is just a snack.

Leah was keeping an eye on the hunter's through telepathy and noticed Felix had eaten marrow. Ew, have you thrown up yet? She telepathed sarcastically.

((Nuh-uh! Marrow=teh NUMS!! Chicken gizzards too.)) Lanen jogged into the clearing, a faint glint of sweat on her face. She shook her head free of hair. "Here, Leah. Felix cought you guys something...just a snack." She chuckled and turned. "See ya later." Her gaze fell on Varian. "Glad that's only temporary..." She said softly, shuddering. "Gives me the willys."

"Thanks, Lanen." Leah said with a smile, then added, Thanks, Felix in telepathy. "Go on," she nodded to Varian, "Just bite it. Instincts'll kick in." Leah smiled. "Trust me, it won't be that much longer if the Council's arriving soon." She said to Lanen.

Lanen nodded solemly before slipping into the forest. She shed her clothes and left them at the base of a rowan tree before shifting into a wolf. She sniffed the air and trotted back to where Felix was. ~ Lucide walked back into the clearing as Lanen left, muddy from head to toe and breathing hard, but beaming as he set three large mule deer down on the ground. He collapsed rather ungracefully next to them. ((Have either of you found any ebilia eggs?))
