Lucide smiled dumbly and wiped a couple strands of dark hair from his eyes. He fell backwards and closed his eyes with a sigh. Varian chuckled and looked down at the carca-ss, swallowing. He bit into the jugular vein with something of a reverance.

Leah smiled and licked her lips. She loved deer, it was her favorite. Next to Bobcat, which she only feasted on special occasions.

Felix licked his lips and tossed the bones away. he wiped his bloody muzzle and crouched down on all fours. He sniffed the air, smelled Lanen, and froze. He smelled wolves. Bad ones. "Lanen!" he cried, fearing for her and the others. He knew these six. they were the Provist Pack. The ones that had killed his mother long ago. He turned to them as they emerged. Shane stood in the front. His muscle bulged and his lanky brown hair went over his eyes slightly. Felix shifted to his human form. Ann and Demetri stood behind Shane. Ann was small and petite, but she had a nasty and big attitude. She also played with her food. Demetri was large and had broad shoulders with ruddy red hair. he was quiet, but was cruel. Then came San, Kain, and Sara. They where triplets. And they all had a knack for messing with their prey. Food or other. "Well! Look here! It's Felix!" Cried Shane in mock surprise. Ann purred. Demetri's gaze bore into Felix's head. San, Kain and Sara laughed and pointed at the five bull elk carc*censored*es. "What do you want?" Felix snarled. "Just a friendly cat, old friend." Shane said, smiling mysteriously. Felix growled. "Old Friends? over my dead body." He growled. "That can be arranged." Demetri said in his quiet and deadly voice. His smile was twisted. The others in the back chattered away. "I heard the Highers are coming." Shane said casually, silencing his pack with a glare. Felix just bared his teeth and snarled. The others in the back shifted into wolves. They sniffed around and wrinkled their noses. They shifted back. " He smells like a vampire!" Sara whined. Shane cocked his head curiously and Felix felt his stomach sink. So much for no close contact. Shane walked up to him and sniffed him. Shane growled and took a big step back. "You died. You are a half breed." he growled. Felix snarled louder. Then, Ann, the scariest of the females, smiled creepily. "Not just that, dear Shane, but he mated with one." At that, the other werewolves growled and took a step back, glaring at Felix. "Traitor!" Demetri hissed.

Leah ran. The stench of werewolves was unbearable, she managed to squeeze in "Stay here!" To Varian and Lanen. She ran, all right, to where the scent of werewolves was so strong it gave her a headache and she crinkled her nose in disgust. She hissed instinctvely as she reached Shane, Ann, Demetri, San, Kain, and Sara, not to mention Felix. Felix, she growled in his head, what the hell's going on?

Lanen sniffed the air and whined. Felix, she thought. The air was drenched in the smell of werewolves. She thought of shifting, and scoffed in disgust; her clothes were too far away. Too bad. With a growl, she turned and ran back when she reached the tree, she shifted to human and pulled them on quickly-the shirt on backwards-and sprinted back.

She walked calmly into the clearing. I'm probably goin to mess everything up, but they need to know who I am and that I'm proud of my mate and who he is. Lanen straightened her shoulders and walked over. She stood next to Felix and clasped his had in hers.

Lanen, Leah said softly, pushing the thought into Lanen's head, You should leave. These people-they mean business.

((LOL. Is only 5:30 pm here. We're goin to the community harvest party later; the houses here are too far apart for any good candy hunting.)) 

And I mean to stay. Lanen thought back obstinatly. They might as well get used to the fact that I'm here to stay.

(( I went as a skeleton with cat ears. I didn't have a costume so I threw stuff together. I went with a three year old girl dressed as Snow White. Sort of funny, a skeleton holding snow white's hand as she walked up the steps. Lol. ))

Felix smiled slightly at Lanen. He squeezed her hand slightly. Ann snarled at Leah, then giggled. Shane looked like he was dancing from foot to foot, leaning forward slightly. Demetri was as silent as ever with an evil glint in his eyes. Kain, San and Sara were watching the sides of their pack. Felix snarled and prepared to lunge at Shane. 

((Aww! Too cute! X3 I wore my magenta dress I made (Thought the fabric was red (Cause I'm color blind. XD) and wanted it to be green) and had my flora in one hand (A dried sunflower) and fauna in the other (My freak....of whom I love very much^^) LOL. My freak sniffed around and found about half my candy.))

"Felix..." Lanen said quietly, aloud and in thought. She went on in thought. Have you ever thought that maybe they want a fight?

Serenia leaned back on her rock. She watched Leah leave. She looked over at Varnian. "What do you think's happening?"She asked in a slightly worried tone.

Leah batted her eyelashes at Ann in a fake giggly sort of way, then pushed Seriously, who are these people? into Felix's head.

Lucide sat up and leaned arms over his legs. "I don't know," He answered for Varian. Varian smiled gratefully over his meal.

Leah, What's up? Lucide thought her way, starting to worry.
