No, it's not, Lanen whined and laid her ears back, hiding her thoughts. Something was scaring her. She did not know how or why, but...something.... She shuddered.

The bushes rustled, showing the arrival of their company. Lanen gasped as a tall man, heavily built stepped through, red hair and beard. Varian echoed Lanens thoughts, saying he fears. "Da."

Felix growled louder and he stood in front of Lanen. The werewolves behind him stood up and flanked his sides, creating a V with Lanen in the middle behind Felix. "State your buisness here!" He barked angrily, glaring straight at the vampire.

The vampire stood and looked at them as if surprised. His calm emerald eyes strayed from one person in the group to the other. He grinned. "Well, this is a surprise. A welcoming commity." He laughed bowed mockingly at Felix. "Tarin Daraksson, at your service." Lanen whined; it hurt to see how much this person had changed.

Daraksson grinned easily. "Just checkin up on things." Shudders ran the length of Lanens body at his tone. "Things like what" She growled, slipping into her human form and positioning to keep herself to herself. Her long dirty blond hair was now streaked with brown, much like her back was when she was wolf, brushing the ground with the tips and falling over her shoulders to the front. ((Like Kylan in my comic Bridge Between when she's human))

Felix watched them and changed back to a human himself. He staggered slightly, unused to being in his human form again. But he adjusted himself and soon he was standing tall, with the sword gleaming against his back.

Daraksson smiled slightly. "Why. Lanen. My pet. I'd recognize you anywhere..." He stepped forward with a hand stretched out. She slid back. "Don't touch me." She snarled, afraid. For herself or him, she did not know. Daraksson's smile turned to a frown. "Ah, well, I see that your taken care of..." He sniffed and wrinkled his nose. "Even if he is a mixed blood."

Daraksson flinched back and blinked, though his face was unreadable. Looking at Lanen from around Felix "Truely Lanen, Im disappointed. A werewolf ruffian for a mate..." He shook his head, ignoring Lanens colorful responce, and turned to Varian. The boy stiffened. "Varian, it's been a while. How old are you?" When Varian did not respond, her chuckled. "Still as quiet as ever. It's a wonder people don't think you to be posessed."

Lanen, unable to take any more insults hurled at her or Vairan, stood up, self-conscience disappearing as she stomped up to her 'Da'. She stares at him as if she could shoot fire from her eyes, Varian spoke out mentally, then chuckled, despite the circumstances. An' she probably could.He tilted his head. Was Lanens belly....swollen? Varian stared at Felix.

"The pups are fine!" Lanen growled, snapping at him. She whirled, blue eyes wide as tears threatened. "This...this thing is not! He left his children to fend for themselves as he went galavanting all over this green earth. Fire wove throught her finger tips and she clenched her fists, looking at the ground.
