Felix nodded, but worry was strong in all the lines of his body.

Lanen smiled and brushed her hand along Felix's shoulders' as she walked past. I'll be fine she said, chuckling. I'll let you meet them if you're good. With that, her small figure faded into the shadows of the forest. 

"Where's Lan goin'?" Varian asked, coming up quietly beside Felix. He watched after his sister, hoping she was alright.

Lanen almost grinned at her mates frustration....Almost. She ducked into the tree and laid the rags she had bundled up before leaving the others in a pile, cursing herself for leaving the bowl of water. A small matter. She dug in the ground until she was satisfied with the depth of her hole  before making a motion as if reaching into the air and pulling the water out of it, letting it fall into the hole and warming it up slightly. With that done, she sat and waited.

"Ooooh," Varian replied, grinning. "That's whats been goin on."-chuckle- "And she went off by herself to have them. Tsk. So independant..."

The first one came with no more fanfare than neccissary, Lanen descided. Sudden pains in the small of her pack, a couple pushes, rush of fluids, done. Pale copper skinned and a head of crow feathers black hair. It wailed once when Lanen spanked it to make it breath and she nodded in satisfaction before setting to cleaning the new born with the rags and warm water. She laughed and blew back sweaty hair that had taken a liking to her eyes.

Congratulations, she told her mate You have a daughter. Cant tell who in the worlds she'll take after... Lanen sent her mate a minds-eye picture of the treasure.

Felix grinned, revealing wolf teeth. She's beautiful.... He thought to her.

(Next one's an unnaturally large black male, takes after Silent's half breed genes,  that has a silver dorsal stripe and amber gold eyes. )

Lanen beamed at Felix's complement and settled down, the female babe settled and sleeping in soft dirt that moved every once in a while. She shifted into a wolf pup and back into a human once before settling. Her mother sighed.

Lightning shot up Lanens back again, this time bringing tears. She sat, gasping after bracing herself. I think this ones yours, she joked tightly. Difficult enough to be...

When the baby was out, dark orange colored eyes that would lighten to a dark gold with age, looked clearly up at herfor a few seconds before closing them and shifting into a pup, abnormaly large and black as pitch with a lightnings streak of white along his back. Lanen gasped a laugh as she rubbed his fur the wrong way to dry him. Definatly yours. Huge, brute of a pup.

Felix laughed and growled teasingly, seeing him. He was indeed larger than a normal wolf pup. His skin color was paler than a normal humans. His hair was long, reaching his chin. A single silver streak in his bangs identicle to the silver dorsal stripe in his wolf form. His eyes wer the same dark gold amber color. He sighed with pleasure. He was a beautiful baby wolf boy.

I dont know, Lanen answered. They're your pups too, you know. Her stomach muscles moved again. Someones having a hard time...She said worridly.
