Lanen gasped at Felix’s voice in her head. He’s so small… she thought brokenly, digging deep in her search. She found a small pool of blue energy and snatched at it, covering the small body with an invisible blanket. She buried her nose into his neck and stroked the fine white hair. She breathed with the energy as it pulsed and throbbed like a heartbeat.

Felix waited, his breath held and his heart beating loudly.

I played tag with, like 10 of my cousins today. It was epic. Much running into each other. XD))

Lanen bent over and rocked gently back and forth, humming under her breath a song that had emerged from her childhood about there not being able to be life without death, how the seasons cant work without the other, stuff that had finally started to make sense to her.

She felt a movement. Then another. She sat back and swallowed back tears as the boy drew a breath and squealed. He opened his mouth, but no sound came out. Lanen laughed and cried at the same time. He lives. Ah. What a miracle. She laughed again and held him to her, rocking side to side.

Felix laughed with delight and mentallly hugged Lanen. He's alive! He thought with joy and triumph.

((Yus! I tweaked my knee yet again, thereby rendering me unable to ride for the next month, but it was fun. ^^))

Lanen laughed and looked at Leah. "Three babes. I wasn't even s'posed to have one. I think I like this werewolf business," She joked, sighing and folding her legs under her. Felix, you can come now. I might fall asleep any moment.

Lanen leaned into Felix's touch and hummed, turning her side to him. The white headed boy fussed some, but didnt make a noise. She briefly wondered about that until waters crept over her mind and she fell into a light sleep.

The small boy opened his eyes, one blue, one golden, and reached up, tugging her hair. She smiled with her eyes still closed and untangled his hand from her blonde hair. "I'll have to cut  it tomorrow," She said softly, barely audible.

((I hate internal alarms!! They wont let me sleep past 7:00am!!! D: Woke me up at 6:30 today. *grumbles* Now I cant get back to sleep.

((Hehe. I ALWAYS wake up at 6:30am, but I can fall vack asleep on weekends. C;

Felix smiled softly and stroked Lanen's head, humming deeply.

Alto snuffled his mother, then he snuffled his little brother. He curled near his little brother and huffed. He kept his orange amber eyes on everything, protecting his little brother.

(( he's going to be protective of the little boy who almost died. XD ))

The little boy squinched his face and made a hoarse cry, what may have been a squeal. Lanen lifted her head slightly, opening her eyes. She stroked the feather-soft white hair and bit her lip, thinking. The first sound the boy had made had been rough, as if he didnt have a voice, and, out of curiosity, she snapped her fingers by his head. He didnt turn or show any change. "Ah, wonderful," 

Alto growl whimpered at his mother. He didn't wnat to be rude, but he also didn't want her to be mean to him. His tail curled protectively aorund his little brother and he nuzzled his little brother's ear.

Felix grimaced. "Deaf. " He sighed. "Well. At elast Alto will protect him." He said, noting Alto's behaviour towards the little boy.
