The wind whistled through the trees. It made a sound like that of a howlig wolf. Who knows, it could be a wolf howlingin the distance, calling for you to join him. Or it could be the wind. It is up to you, do you dismiss it as the wind or do you follow the sound to the wolf's location?

Setting:

Layin in the middle of a ring of mountains there is a valley called the Valley f Darkness. It is named as such because it almost never gets brighter then a light haze as the massive forest always blocks out the sun. There is a lake that sits smack dab in the middle of the valley with a waterfall to the north and a river to the south. The lake is the only area that ever gets bright. The season is just changing from winter to spring so there is a little snow left on the ground.

This is going to start out as a loner RP, you may make a pack later if you wish.

Like a shadow she slipped silently through the trees. Her nose raised slightly towards the sky, following the scent of the water. She knew if she did not reach the lake soon she would be in trouble. She could no longer feel her back leg. She paused for a moment and looked back at her leg. Blood trickled down her right rear leg and making a trail in the snow. She shook her head and turned back in the direction she was going. A new determination to get to the lake.

He crept past the trees, silent as the wind, and crouched down low. He knew it was out there but he watched his back and sides fairly carefully. He pressed on after realizing it was gone. He trotted lightly over to the  top of the hill. He realized that he had a ways to go before reaching the lake. He pushed past the chest high snow in which he was just in, and now the only part was the snow up to his paws. He huffed a bit and  crossed the meadow and slipped into the trees ahead.

Ruko could smell another woulf around but not close by him. He could sense it was a pup in which he had no intentions on hurting, but he wouldn't hurt another wolf anyways unless they picked a fight first. He trotted at a normal pace and finally came out of the forest and into the lakes presence. He looked out and saw nothing so he trotted up to the edge of the lake and sat down right where the water heal his paws from walking so much. He decided to crawl atop of a rock and sprawl out udner the sun.

The male wolf stopped before trotting over to the rock and looked at the wolf. "Just a pup...", he thought. He left the little one be but watched it's wings spread to a good length. He flashed one of those fangs and all smile and continued to trot over to the rock. "No use in picking a fight with such a young one", he snickered. he meant no harm yes, and he had never really seen a pup as this one before. He kept his eyes on the pup though, just in case it tried anything.

Ruko watched the small pup make way to him. He simply watched the pup proceed to come near him. he ignored the action but continued watching, fully aware that the pup was making progress. He grinned a bit and then looked up at the sun and felt his fur begin to get hot. "ahhh...that feels good ", he thought. He continued watching the pups progress and figured that the pup must not be afraid. He sat up but only to ly on his stomach.

He cocked his head slightly to the wolf, but not enough to show interest. "Friend young one...for now.", Ruko smiled. He stayed put in his spot. He was comfortable and there was no point he saw in moving just to check out the little wolf. He didn't move a muscle and watched the wolf's motions, movements, and thoughts. He couldn't read her thoughts but figured that watching her might give him a few hints as to what her mind would be thinking.

He watched her taoke off and land beside. "I am Ruko, but you may call me Ru, or ko, or simly Ruko", he smiled. He wagged his tail. This pup seemed fairly interesting to him but he was not going to show it.

Ruko watched the pup smile and he couldn't help but smile back and wag in respect. "You don't have to call me sir.", he replied. "Actually I have no idea How I got here. i just walked.", he thought out loud.

"Well, it's not something I'm used too. Being called sir that is...besides I'm not that old. I'm only a teen.", he smiled. He did fairly much look to be a full grown adult, knowing how big he was. "I walked from an indian village about 50 miles away from here, and questions don't bother me. it's ok", He rspected this lil pup. she was kind and fairly good-hearted. He could smell it on her. Oh great now he was talking like an old wolf.

You look like an adult. Even if you are a teen you are still older than I am. What was it like in the indian village? did you see humans? my dad told me never to go near humans. I have been walking for a while.. my home is a few days from here. Something happened so i had to leave...

Kitara looked up at Roku with a small smile. She was slowly beginning to trust him
