Maksis found the meat strips in a dark brown bag. He shouldered the pack and walked back to where the others were. He pas.sed a couple strips to Shadow. The young wolf ate them with pleasure. "Thank you." He said. Maksis smiled. "No problem." He handed a couple to Calyx and Aurora and kept one for himself. "We'll have to go hunting again." He said to the group, trying to make conversation.

Taylor laughed at Teto's appearance. She laid back on the gras.s and watched as the sky darkened and small, but bright specks in the sky became visible. She looked back and watched as the sun began to set over the lake, drenching the scenery around them in a golden aura. The lake's surface turned gold and the sky turned a light shade of pink.

Cloud turned to the beautiful sunset. " cool....." he said.

Calyx refused to eat, and got up. Aurora secretly ate her food.......Calyx walked into the woods alone to...play.

Calyx spotted a tree and jumped on the top branch. she let the bottom on fire and watched.

Calyxs fire got out of comtrol and went to the next tree...then the next.....then the next...creating a firest fire. Calyx chuckled as she watched her baby flame grow up.

Taylor sighed and moved over to the right, away from Cloud. Rejection washed through her, but she knew she was being stupid. Cloud just did not like her like that. She looked up at the stars again, searching through the constellations to find the one she loved most.

Maksis began to smell smoke and looked back. A wall of fire was steadily moving toward the group. He let out a yelp of alarm and Shadow rose to his feet calmly.

Shadow walked over to the flames and watched as ice began to crawl out from under his jet black paws and crawl toward the fire. When the two elements met, it made water and doused the fire. He kept walking, the ice following with his pawsteps. He found Calyx blowing fire onto the trees. "Do you enjoy killing the creatures and spirits of the forest?" He asked her calmly.

"no." she hissed. " theres nothing here, its just an abandoned forest." she growled at the thought of her flames being put out by some stranger wolf.She jumped up in a burnt tree, because the ice hurt her paws.

Aurora followed Shadow and tried to do what he did. at first, nothing happened, then slowly ice began to crawl out from under her paws. it went a few inches before turning to water.

Shadow looked up in the branches of the trees. He gave her a fierce glare. "Then you are an ignorant pup. Listen now to the sound of the creatures scurrying away in fright. Abandoning their homes because they have been destroyed. This forest is abandoned by humans. The animals were safe here. It will take years for these trees to grow back now. These trees were over hundreds of years old. You have scarred this land. If you scent the air, you can smell rotting carcas.ses of all the animals you have killed." He sniffed and sure enough he could smell burning flesh. That of raccoon, squirrel, and fox.

((bum bum...what's cloud's reaction to taylor moving away from him?))

Calyx hissed, not knowing. She tried t show that she wasent sad, but inside she was. she growled, speechless, and ran into the woodse

Cloud looked at Taylor. " anything the matter?" he asked.

Taylor tilted her head and looked at Cloud, ignoring his question. "Do you know the constellations?" She asked him.

Shadow sighed and turned back to face Aurora. "You have just begun to touch your powers while Calyx here has already mastered hers. Although, she should learn to control herself." He said, his eyes troubled by the gloomy air of death surrounding them. "Come. Let us find somewhere far away from this scarred earth." He said and padded through the forest. Eventually, the leaves turned from a crumbled black to a lush green. He sat down in the clearing of trees and scraped the ashes from his paws on the gras.s.

Aurora looked up at Shadow. " yuss." she chirped as she followed them away.

" umm...some." Cloud answered as he scooted over to Taylor to get a better view.

Taylor sighed. "Here, I'll show you." She pointed up to a cluster of stars. "That is my favorite constellation." She said. "That's Lupus. It's translation is wolf." She said. "That there is Pegasus." She said and she explained all of the constellations that could be viewed right now to Cloud. The stars seemed to shine in her eyes as she talked, but she just wished that somehow, she could be closer to Cloud.

Taylor sighed. That was about as romantic as Cloud could get. She then realized that she did not want him to change. Sure, one kiss would be nice, but she moved closer to him. She curled up against his side. "Thank you." She said. The thanks had a deeper meaning than what she meant. She had been thanking him for everything he had done so far. Her eyes still shone with the light of the stars.

Cloud looked into her eyes. " no prob.." he smiled.

Aurora stopped dead in her tracks. She stared at a black thing on the ground and started crying.

Cloud leaned over to Taylor, and kissed her. (( thar. xD ))

Aurora put her paw on the thing and stared at it.

Cloud smiled. well...i diddent completly suck....he thought.

Aurora's paw started to glow, and the black thing started to move. it got up to be a small fox kit. it was covered in smoke, and it was crying. Aurora picked up the kit and happily trotted over to Shadow trying to hide the kit.
