well at least she's not hurting herself anymore.....he thought.suddenly his wings started to make an arch, she he started to shiver. he let out a threatening growl and broke free of Taylors powers. he turned to her and started to bear his teeth. he jumped at her, but missed.

The shadowy liquid from Cloud's mouth had fallen onto her shoulder. She screamed with pain, but her breath was pushed out of her as Cloud pushed her into the ground. He turned his head away, scattering the liquid. He jumped off of her, clearly angry with himself. Taylor forced herself to get up, though her breath hadn't come back yet. She stood up, unsteadily, the pain in her should unbearable. She watched as Cloud backed up onto his haunches, preparing to jump. She dodged to the right, not daring to open her fragile wings. He could jump and tear them to shreds while she was vulnerable.

The aura glowed in her hands again and she sent a flying, invisible force to intercept Cloud in his attempt of an attack.

Taylor was beginning to get out of breath. She couldn't go on like this for much longer, but she wouldn't give up on Cloud. She dodged as he attacked again, but she stepped in more of the shadowy liquid. She screamed as she fell and grabbed her burning foot. She put a force field around her and hoped Cloud wouldn't be able to break it while she recovered. Her vision blurred with tiredness. She smacked herself, trying to keep herself awake, but she was too tired and the force field was using up the little energy she had left. She began to close her eyes, but noticed a shadowy puddle to her right. Her foggy mind couldn't register the pain until after her fingertips had found her cheeks. She snapped awake as a new fire flared through her cheeks, searing the skin. Her fingertips were flared. She whiped them on the ground and the pain dulled. She stood up to face Cloud again, unsure if he was going to pounce on her force field.

Cloud attacked the force field, but slammed himself into a tree. he swung his head at the tree many times, trying to tire hime self out.

suddenly Calyx attacked Cloud. she ripped a chunk out of his neck.

Cloud swung her in to the tree too and she fell to the ground. the green liquid poured on her neck.

Calyx screamed and tackled him. she slashed his stomach and he was smacked into the river. she started to shake as she looked at her chest where the liquid touched.

Taylor's shoulder burned as the fire ate at her flesh. She watched the scene between Calyx and Cloud. She watched as the shadowy liquid poured over Calyx's chest and how Cloud was thrown into the water. She stood up and let her force field die. She walked over to Calyx. "Get in the water." She said, her voice shaky. She waded into the water and scooped the liquid onto her burns. She felt instand relief, but as soon as the wounds were inflicted to the air, the burning came back twice as badly. "Calyx, come here." She said, motioning towards the water.

Taylor's thoughts were filled with fear and darkness. She was shivering violently, but a burning pain was in her thoughts. Surrounding her, closing in on her. she jerked awake, but the pain would not go away. she looked down at her shoulder. The flesh was burned away to leave an angry, red wound. She looked at her fingertips. The skin on top was scalded off and her cheeks burned like wildfire. She looked down at Cloud and breathed a sigh of relief to see that he was okay. All her pain was forgotten in that moment. She layed down next to him, trying to ignore the burning on her flesh.

Looks: Shaggy,  brown hair that has natural blonde highlights in it. His face is very angled annd he is about 5'5''. He is well-muscled, but doesn't overdo it with working out. He gained all of his muscle from being on the road since he was little. He usually wears jeans or sport shorts and any T-shirt will do. His eyes are a brilliant, but subtle green with sapphire blue flecks in it.

Taylor opened her eyes as Cloud touched her cheek. She flinched but carefully layed her hand on top of his, keeping it on her cheek. She relaxed, seeing the sadness in his eyes. "Don't leave." She said softly.

Cloud shook his head, not knowing what to do.He bent down and picked her up, and headed to the cave.

Calyx opened her eyes and staggered up, and followed them.

Aurora was still there......sleeping.....snoring....((xD))

Taylor let Cloud pick her up. Her wounds were too much for her. The pain in her shoulder flared and she flinched, but she gritted her teeth. She was very weak. The fire blazing through her skin was burning all of her energy. "Not your fault." She said weakly. "Mine." She lifted her hand to stroke his face, but it fell to her side weakly.
