Jamelia sighed, seeing no threats. But maybe something other than a bird's eye view. She jumped off the rock she was on, then went through the pack to patrol any injuries and/or threats. She almost tripped over Avvon. "Oh, sorry." She smiled, then went around him with another proud swish of her tail as she did when running into males.

Jamelia turned around and smiled. "Oh, well. Since theres no Alpha Male I have to take in the patrolling job myself. The lion attack rate has been going up increasingly this year, and the wildabeest bulls are getting wrangled up in the spring. But I do hope the new Males will have potential this year." She then smiled again at Avvon, being as kind as possible.

Jamelia narrowed her eyes, but didn't see any trick or threat. "Alright, but be good." She smiled, then led him through the pack.

Jamelia smiled to herself. She saw potential. A good hunter, and also kind and social. "That'll be put to the test, soon..." She didn't realise she was thinking aloud. She shook her head, and kept on walking.

He nodded "Ok" he smiled and kept trotting beside her. He lowered his head, smelling of the sent's on the ground, nothing speceil and all the member's sent's filled the ground "I don't think their's any intruder's." he said. He looked around and back to her.

Jamelia smiled and nodded. "Thank you for helping me. There is great potential in you." She then turned around and walked back to her rock, just incase she needed to watch the pack any more.

Jamelia smiled, looking down at Marcillina. "Well, it doesn't matter if I'm going to be okay. The real problem is what might happen to the pack. This may be our last spring. If it keeps going on like this, the pack could go hungry and even the new pups might not survive. Not only are the lions taking in all the prey, but its been years since the last Alpha Male..." She looked back at Marcillina. "But don't worry about that. Try to find your mother, its almost meal time."

Jamelia flinched. She had forgotten Avvon was there. "Soon, I think." Her eyes were on a herd a few yards away. She couldn't make out exactly what the animals were, but they were going to find out. She swiftly lept off the rock, then bouded toward the shadows. "Nevermind! Right now!" She made chittering and squeaking noises to signal the pack for the hunt.

Apparently it was a herd of Zebra. Zamelia crept silently in the dry bushes, not too far inront of Avvon. She made a few bird-like sounds, trying to direct the pack without being suspected by the prey. One ear was flat against her head, the other was halfway down, picking up sounds. She motioned for the Betas to go around the herd and pick out the younger ones, while the Charlies would distract the rest of the herd. Zamelia launched into the middle of the herd, chasing out the older or injured Zebras. She growled and snapped, barking loudly to get the middle aged Zebras out. Suddenly, a Zebra bucked at her in the face, causing her to bleed terribly.
