Snoweplt hissed under his breath. "Uff, come on." He grunted, padding back to the highrock. Once there he sat dow, waiting for the announcement. Deathstripe finished up her food and ran towards the highrock, crashing into crowds of cats on the way. Sordidtail stretched out and left her den, she jumped up onto the high rock, and sat next to her leader. Cloudpatch ventured out of his den and sat in the back of the clan, watching closely.

Silverwhisp hobbled over to where all the other cats were sitting. Silentsong grunted, sitting beside Deathstripe. Wolfpaw dragged Fleetpaw over to Silverwhisp. "whats happening?" She whispered. Goldshard hissed. Yet another interuption.

"I dunno." Fleetpaw said. "Snowpelt, Goldshard, you have already heard this. You can go if you want." She sat down. "Most of you probably know about Blackheart, but I guess a few of you don't." She explained all about Blackheart, then said,"He is a threat. He attacked one of the patrols I sent out, and he must be eliminated. But I'm afraid I can't face him alone. He would kill me for sure. But I am coming to face him. Is there anyone brave enough to come with?" |

Deathstripe looked over a Silentsong and put on a big smile. "Do you know what this is gonna' be 'bout?" Snowpelt walked off, leaving the rest of the clan to listen.

"Kill you? But your the leader!" Wolfpaw gasped. How could her leader be saying such things? "You have plently of lives left.....right?" Goldshard curled her tail around Snowpelt. "Should we help? I mean, like, help kill him?" She asked. "I'll come!" Silentsong said immedetly.

"Kill? With our whole clan, it might be easy. But this takes planing." Snowpelt wondered, he wanted him gone, but not dead. Deathstripe turned her head and gave a surprised look at Silentsong. "I-I'll come." Sordidtail sat tall. "I'll come, Sunstar." Cloudpatch watched from a distance. He couldn't help but think how much work he would have to do whent hey came back.

Sunstar sighed. "I'm afraid I don't, Wolfpaw. otherwise I would face him alone. You may all come." Tigerhawk was silent. He couldn't face that cat. A shaky voice spoke up from the crowd of cats. "I...I'm coming with you." Sunstar's eyes widened. "You, Fleetpaw?" Fleetpaw nodded. |
