Taylor stumbled into the cla.ssroom, not wanting to be late on her first day. She had left her bag hastily in her new room after talking to Professor Winter. She slipped into the cla.ss* and tripped over a decorative rug on the floor. Falling over, she expected people to look at her. Instead, she saw a group of kids surrounding a teenage girl holding an egg. "Ow," she mumbled to herself. "what's going on," she asked one of the girls. "Shh" another person said. Looking down, Taylor saw that an egg was hatching.

Xhaos held the egg reverently, keeping it in her arms. It shuddered again and a large crack appeared in the middle. Xhaos held her breath as the crack grew and a small teal furred paw came out. "Look," she whispered anxiously as the paw groped outside of the egg, causing the cracj to grow.

((when's it actually gonna hatch lol.)) Taylor looked on as another paw popped out. She then thought in her mind how wonderful it would be to have a Creature all to her own. How loyal it would be because of it's species type. How beautiful it would be with it's long, blue fur and it's crystal blue eyes would always be there to comfort her. Taylor opened her eyes in surprise to find a small, sapphire egg in the palm of her hand. Taylor gasped and hid the egg, not wanting to ruin Xhaos big moment.

Xhaos hugged the little creature who had come out of the egg, it's still wet body warm and sof tin her arms. It was little yet something about it suggested much growth later in its life. It had soft and long teal fur, like a cats yet longer. It had a long muzzled face like a wolves yet there was a hint of fox origin in it. Its intelligent violet eyes watched Xhaos carefully, filling with love and absolute trust. Its long limbed body settled down comfortably into Xhaos's arms, and it quickly fell alseep. "It's a she," she whispered softly, "I'll name you Raithe,"

"Oh look!" Mrs Vawn Exclamed, "Anouther egg! Yay!" Her two creatures, one a brown ferret and anouther a frosty white ferret sat on her sholders. They looked around, thenthe white one, named Java, climbed onto Mrs. Vawn's head, "Everyone go back to your dorms!" She said, "The shows over!" Prof. Winter walked over to Taylor, his creature, a huge albino gorrila named Frost, following right behind him. "Well now, you have to put that in your incubater. It is in your room." |

((Okay XD)) Taylor walked into her dorm room, feeling alone because she didn't have a room-mate. She walked over to her incubator and placed her egg in it. Sighing, she watched the egg patiently. Giving up after a half an hour of staring, she took out her pencil and sketched the egg. Then she sketched what the creature would look like. This went on until dark. She looked at her clock. 10:00 PM it said. Taylor put her drawing pad down and climbed into bed. Having second thoughts, she went over to the incubator, kissed the egg and climbed back in. Taylor fell asleep quickly, while she dreampt about her new creature.

Xhaos petted Raithe and walked to her room, sitting on her bed. Raithe growled in her sleep and twitched lightly, jerking around on the bed. Xhaos laughed and hugged her, feeling her soft teal fur against her skin. "You are the most adorablecutestsmartestsoftestfluffylittlethingamabob I have ever seen," she said.
