"Do you think you're up for another kill? If Princess helped you, you could likely track down the injured male gryphon, and likely the female's eggs. We could kill the ale if he resists and take the eggs back to the academy." Blitz thought for a minute. "Not a bad idea, we could raise the gryphonlings to guard the school, I'm sure Professor Winter would be grateful." "What do you think?" Kevi asked Silence and Princess, Blitz entering Silence's mind. |

"Okay, Princess, get on my back and track the scent of the gryphon, his blood was strongly scented, it's still on my claws, and mine is likely on his beak." Blitz said, offering a bloody claw.

Princess sniffed Blitz's claw. "I got it!" She said after a few secounds, and jumped on his back. "Its that way!" She said and pointed to where she could smell the gryphon's blood.

Blitz took to the air swiftly, steered by Princess until they found the gryphons cave. He landed on the ledge with a deep growl, eying the male fiercely., He leaned down slightly to let {Princess have a safe jump down. He scanned the cave for the gryphon eggs, and surely enough, he saw a large clutch of six eggs in a straw nest in the corner.

The male gryphon growled at Blitz fearcely, but he coulden't hide the fear in his eyes. "He is scared!" Princess mocked, "A little scardy baby!" The male gryphon growled at Princess. |

Blitz shot a fearsome glare at Princess before turning his attention to the eggs. He drove a thought into Princess's noisy mind. You do not talk in a battle Princess, one wrong word could strengthen your opponent. Now, inch towards the six eggs and I'll give him room to leave if her doesn't want to fight, okay?

Fine... Princess responded then started to inch towards the eggs, keeping her eyes on the gryphon the whole time. The gryphon ruffled its feathers and puffed up, making a screetching sound, but made no move to attack, since it had seen what they could do. However, it did not flee eaither, since it still was the father of the eggs and felt a connection with them. |

Blitz hissed threateningly, coming around the gryphon, also edging towards the clutch of eggs. He parted his jaws in threat, revealing sharp teeth and flames in the back of his throat.

The gryphon growled, but backed away. "I'll get you back... Someday!" He hissed, then flew out of the cave as fast as he could. Princess stuck her tonge out at the retreating gryphon, "nyaa!" She then went closer to the eggs, "These things are soo pretty!" She exclamed. |

"We have to be careful." Blitz warned. "Dropping them could be detrimental, depite their naturally thick shell. I'll go and get Kevi and Silence to help us carry them, though I'm sure I can get two in each hand." Blitz glanced at the exit. "Do you think you can handle guarding them when I'm gone?" he asked.

I'm ready. Silence replied in her mind. ~ Prince was shivering on the ground, all he could hear was the dead gryphon's voice, then he heard Lava saying something, it sounded like a whisper. He opened his eyes, "L-lava?" He studderd, then he closed his eyes again as he felt like he was being pulled back into the trance-like state he was in. |
