Zefie walked into the forest with Luigi following behind her. Luigi blew a smoke ring into the air. He didn't like the forest, especially with all the things in it that could kill or eat him, wild creatures that are bigger, stronger than him. He shivered at the thought. Gr-hrrr he told Zefie, but she just rolled her eyes. "We're not going to get killed." she said, unafraid. They walked deeper. The leaves of a bush rustled slightly, and noise could be heard behind it. Zefie smiled, and tiptoed lightly, quietly across the muddy ground towards the sound. Zefies eyes grew wide, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. ((Ack, my posts ned to be longer T.T))
"What's your name?"
"Bob, sir."
"Bob. I like Bob."
"It's a sacred name, sir."
"All right, your Sacred Bob."

"Awwww!" Kevi squealed, acting like a little girl again, putting her hand down to stroke the little gryphon's head feathers, then she looked over and saw the red egg hatching. She gasped and slid over to it, watching as the tiny gryphon-ling clawed out of it's sell. She was sad when she saw that it had no wings. "Awww, that's okay little guy" Kevi paused "I mean girl. You don't need wings to make me happy" Kevi stroked the new gryphon-ling lightly, as not to injure her frail legs. "Your name can be Scarlet, since that was the color of your egg" she said. Following Scarlet, The dark blue egg hatched, pushing off the top of its egg and sitting in the bottom half, sticky with egg-goo. Kevi leaned in to pet him, and he was cold to the touch. The gryphon-ling blinked then snapped at Kevi's hand with a fierce screech. "Sorry Iceblink" Kevi said apologetically, not even realising she had named him until after the words came from her mouth. Next to hatch was a larger white gryphon female, which was named Finch because of the way she moved like the songbird.

Zefie watched as the Pegasus spread it's majestic, feathery wings. It bent it's head down slowly to reach for the gr*censored* it was planning to eat. It's long horn made glistened in the sunlight that had found it's way through the trees. It was beautiful. Zefie just stood there, mouth wide open. Luigi was puzzled at the creature, at what it was. Gah-hrrr? he asked Zefie. Zefie blinked, as if she was just snapped out of a trance and slowly turn around. "It's a Pegasus..." she answered in the language of the dragons, "It's rare to see one in this forest..." she said, turning around to face the creature. Luigi walked up besideher to observe the creature. It's wide, fluffy wings pulled in to the Pegasus' sides while it ate, and it's hooves made prints in the mud. When the Pegasus had finished it's meal, it quickly trotted away into hiding, for it didn't want to be seen by anyone else.
"What's your name?"
"Bob, sir."
"Bob. I like Bob."
"It's a sacred name, sir."
"All right, your Sacred Bob."

Skye's ears folded back in fear when she saw Kevi and she hid behind Prince, makeing whimpering sounds and shivering. She was obveiously scared by the sight of her. But why? Prince looked at Skye, Could she know...? He thought, then shook his head, No. Impossible. She can't know that her mother was killed by them... He looked into Skye's eyes, and Skye looked into his. His eyes widened as something flashed in her eyes. Its her! He thought, gasping, I don't know how, but her mother lives on inside her! |

Kevi glanced at Skye. "Awww, poor little dear." she said, holding out a piece of fruit for the gryphon-ling. She had read online that gryphons were omnivorous, preferring fruit at a young age and then as they grew older, they only ate it if they could not hunt.

Skye squawked at Kevi, backing up more. She stared at Prince, wide eyed, Help! Prince's eyes widened, I didn't know hatchlings could communicate! He thought, then he rememberd the connection he felt with Skye, That must by why.... Skye looked back at Kevi, her eyes flashed and she swiped at her hand, screetching. |

"Hey!" Kevi said. She looked rather disappointed. "Why don't any of you like me?" she asked sadly. She nudged the fruit closer. "You can keep it anyway." she said in an undertone. She petted Scarlet and Finch, and Finch crawled into her lap and nuzzled her affectionately. Kevi at once forgot about Skye's rejection and hugged Finch lightly.

Skye sniffed at the fruit distastfully, squawked and walked away from it and to Prince. She narrowed her eyes at Kevi hugging Finch, and the feathers on her neck starting to rise portectivley.

((She does know that it wasn't her that killed their mother right? O.o It was Blitz and Lava. Mostly Blitz.)) Scarlet shakily stood up on her thin legs and walked over to Skye, her sister she as.sumed. She had no way of knowing for sure. "How do you know? We've only been hatched for an hour" she said. "Less than that." Finch corrected, airing out her sticky wings. |

((She still partly blames Kevi though, because she did tell them to kill her.)) "I...I don't know..." Skye said, suddenly getting scared, "Its just that... I have a part of me that... just tells me she is bad...." She trailed off. Prince sighed, I know why she feels that.... He thought, but didn't dare say it outloud. ((Skye's voice is oddly fimilar because it sounds exactly like her mothers btw XD)) |

Iceblink smiled at her, and felt the sudden urge to try out his wings. He tensed his muscles and sprang upwards without warning, flapping his wings frantically before landing heavily on a pillow.
