Solara lifted Skye onto her back. "Lava, Blitz, lead the way"

Blitz nodded and took flight over the forest, Lava and Solara flanking him as they cast long shadows over the woods.

Lava recognized the cave where Skye's father had lived when they took the eggs. "Blitz," he said in a low warning. "We shouldn't be going this way."

Blitz glanced over and frowned. "You're right, follow me then." he said, swerving to the left and turning eastward.

And mine doesn't have teeth eather, but.. he still looks like he wants to kill me o.o))

"Whats in that cave?" Skye asked curiously.  "Is it treasure?"

((lmao. XD It was an anole, and it was actually native to Florida. I caught it over the summer and kept it as a pet. It lived for a good year later.))

"It's where we rescued your eggs." Blitz cut in before Solara could answer.

Before anyone else could talk however, an ear-piercing shriek echoed through the forest.

Kevi sat upright, almost making Silence fall. "I know that sound" she said, looking worried.

"Well what is it?" Solara hissed impatiently.

Kevi shook her head. "No, we're not going there, we're not trained enough, turn around Blitz, we have to take shelter in that cave- Equus mortatious cannot climb."

Oh, and something random, if my unkle remembers, I just may be getting a totally epicfull scanner 8D))

Silence shivered, remembering what Kevi had said about that creature.

"Whats that?" Skye asked, "I never heard of something like that before."

Kevi laughed darkly. "And you never want to." she said. "Go Blitz." she ordered. They dove for the cave on the cliffs where the father gryphon had nested, landing carefully at the entrance. He let Kevi and Silence down, and Lave let off Ribunny and Fang.

Solara lifted Skye off her back and to the ground, keeping her close in case her father was here still. 

The father gryphon's ears pirked up.  "Who goes there, friend or foe!?" He snarled in a deep voice.

Skye cocked her head, "Why does that voice sound fimilar...?"

((They're in the cliffs foxwolf, not your cave. :P))

Solara hissed at Skye, and glared at the rest, mentally telling them to remain silent. "It is me, Solara." she chirped nervously. "I have brought you something." she said. She smiled slyly at Lava and Blitz.

Lava and Blitz looked at each other and backed into the cracks in the cave wall, remaining hidden so they could ambush the male from behind. 

"Solara!" The male exclamed happily and ran over, "I have missed you so!" He sighed sadly, "But something sad has happened to Skye... and the eggs..."  He paused to sniff the air, "Why do I smell dragon?" He wondered.

((Clever fox. :P))

Solara's heart lept. "I know about Skye, and... I have one of her eggs." she said, avoiding his question. Her heart raced nervously. "Her name is also Skye, she named herself." She revealed Skye from under her feathers. 

The father {Who I'll just name Silver XD}'s eyes widened.  "She looks... exactly like her mother."  His eyes started to tear up.

Skye walked closer to her father.  "D-dad?" She asked, her eyes starting to water.  "I.. I always wanted to meet you." She hugged his leg.

"Dr-dragons?" Silver asked, amazed, "But.. why would I help dragons." He started to bristle.

"Please Dad?" Skye asked.  "They are NICE dragons.. most of the time"

Silver sighed, "Fine.  But the dragons must leave by tomarrow."

Lava and Blitz came out of hiding. Kevi's hand was on Blitz's flank to offer her own protection. "Sir..."

"Did I mention humans?" Solara said quickly. "This is Kevi."

"Mr. Silver" Kevi said, bending to her knee with respect, casting glances at Ribunny and Silence to do the same, she always read that gryphons were very proud animals...
