Rosaline laid her ears back, showing that she heard Regalis, but she couldn't care less about his opinion. She could say whatever she wanted, smart or not. It's not like she would ever insult anyone that could actually hurt her.
Riley smiled at Kazumi when they entered the cafeteria. "Have you ever had chocolate chip pancakes before?" he asked excitedly, handing her and Regalis a plate. He put a pancake on his plate.
Rosaline followed Riley obediently, her tail raised his in self-confidence. She went over to the pet line when he started talking, getting some of the nutritious food that the chef made for the things the students created.
