Sven soon fell asleep reading his book, and didn't wake up until it was long after night time. He rubbed his eyes, figuring that Jacoba is usually hungry around midnight, he got out of his chair and went down to the fields. He opened Jacoba's stall and he burst out with a hiss. "Oh hush Jacoba" Sven said angrily.
Jacoba hung his head in shame. "Sorry Sven, I suppose the energy from the battle hasn't really worn off yet."
"It's okay" Sven soothed, patting Jacoba's side. "It wasn't your fault." Sven got out the riding harnesses and put them on Jacoba.
"Where are we going?" Jacoba asked excitedly.
"Out into the forest, I figured you'd be hungry for something that wasn't fat, lazy and asleep." Sven said, casting a sideways glance at the sleeping cattle.
"That sounds good to me, maybe I'll find something to fight with" Jacoba said excitedly.
Sven chuckled softly. "One can only hope" he said.
