((The plot:

One of the students wanted to make a creature, and failed.  Professor Winter was told, he didn't worry at first, he brushed it off as the student just needing a break.  Then, another, more experienced student tried to make a creature, and also failed.  He started to worry, but decided it was just a coincidence.  Then, something worse happened.  Everyone's creatures seemed to be fading, almost as if they were shifting in and out of reality.  Now, he knew it was serious.  He suspected that has happened over 1,000 years ago is starting to happen again.  To confirm his suspicions, he tried to make a creature, and failed.  He went through stuff in a secret room and found an old scroll.  It said that long ago, this had happened before, and that he must pick his best students and one of their creatures, to go into a portal leading to the imagination world.  A world that was the place that made it possible to imagine creatures.  The chosen student and their creature must find out why this is happening, or their creatures will disappear forever and new creatures will never be able to be made again.

Kevi crossed her legs as she sat on her bed. "I can't believe it" she said to Silence. "I'm bored out of my mind." She looked at the newly hatched water dragon thing that was sitting in her roomate's lap, Then at Prince and Princess, playing a game sort of like tag on the floor. "I thought that the gryphons would be a handful, but Temeraire is doing a great job with them, they'll be ready to train soon. And my dragons are already going out on their own, catching their own food and that of the gryphons."

Silence glanced at Kevi and sighed.  She was also bored.  She stroked Aqua {I think thats what I named the water dragon xD} and listened to the purr-like sounds that she made.  She glanced at Prince who had tripped over his own feet while running and was starting to get up.  She transferred a thought to him.  He glanced up at Silence, looking a bit dazed, then nodded.

"Silence was wondering if maybe you could make a creature for yourself.  Maybe one that could be made especially for making boredom go away."  He said just before Princess tackled him, wanting to play some more.

"I suppose I could. Something small though, I wouldn't be able to handle another dragon or gryphon..." Kevi said. She closed her eyes and let out a long sigh. A little furball with rainbow stripes with limit-less energy. She'll always want to play and never stop. She"ll be very soft, but hate to be held or cuddled, except in a thunderstorm, because they scare her. When she's scared, she'll try and burrow into your arms or clothes. Her power makes all dreams happy if she's in the room, and, of course, she's always in them. She'll be sad if you kick her off your bed after she nips you by accident, and she'll start wailing loud enough to wake up the whol floor of dorms.... Kevi smiled again, deciding that this was the creature she wanted. She opened her eyes in confusion.
