Daemon and Robin burst through the doors to the headquarters, Robin in his wolf form. "Guess what we found?" Daemon smiled and kept his tone flat despite the sparkle of excitement in his eyes. He patted Robin's head. The werewolf was carrying a small bag in his jaws. "We managed to break into an empty house and raid their refrigerator. I was against it, of course." Daemon said in a noble tone. Robin rolled his eyes and trotted towards the table, his snout level with it. Robin dropped the bag onto the table, wagging his tail. "It ought to last us for about... a day or two." Daemon shrugged.

Aine was shaking with fright. Her parents had left her, and she had no idea where they were. She was a little glad about the fact that she wasn't like many children, getting to see their parents slain by the werewolves and vampires. She heard a rustle amongst the bodies. Aine was alone in a street littered with the lifeless bodies of many humans. "Who... Who's there?" She asked in a timid voice.
Selina had been picking her way through the streets, happy about the fact that she got to escape from the headquarters. It got stuffy in there sometimes. Her sensitive nose picked up a scent of fresh blood. "Hm... A survivor." She murmured to herself. Selina slipped behind a nearby lamp post to spy on the black-haired girl. She seemed extremely frightened, and Selina wondered what the girl was doing out in the streets. Despite her dislike of humans, Selina felt a pinch of pity for the girl. She looked like a mere child. Selina tried to dart towards the girl without making her even more frightened.
Aine saw another girl, a brunette. However, she was scarily beautiful and pale, just like the other fanged creatures. "N-n-no... Stay away from me." Aine tried to rise on her wobbling legs. The girl's eyes seemed to flash in contempt. In a rush, the vampire barreled into Aine and picked up the weak girl, flinging Aine over her shoulder while the vampire gripped onto the legs. Aine beated at the vampire's back. "Let me go! Let me go!" She protested. "Oh, shut up." Came the reply.
Selina trotted towards the headquarters in a steady pace, with Aine slung over her shoulder. The girl had fallen silent now, as if giving Selina a temper tantrum. Selina rolled her eyes and opened the door. "Hey, guys, look what I found!" She crowed triumphantly.
