((Hope your finger gets bettah(:))
Madi followed Zak's dark figure into the night, her eyes narrowed in distaste. She hated going out on 'practice' hunts. Zak just lectured her on stalking and the proper way to kill, shoved her out of the way, and killed whatever it was they were hunting. She never got to do anything! Zak was so messy with his kills sometimes and it go all over her shoes. Blood stains don't come out of shoes.
She glanced down at her outfit. A white tank top with a black miniskirt and black high heel strappy shoes. Well, she thought, at least the blood wont be that noticible.
She was so not in the mood to put up his patronizing crap. She looked around the city. It was really quiet and still in the night. She looked up at the sky, the moon was shining bright. That was the reason he picked this particular Friday to go and kill some vamps or something. A Friday! She always went clubbing on Fridays! She could have been dancing, drinking and laughing with her friends and some cute guys but no. Zak just had to ruin the fun. She clutched the small dagger Zak gave her, just in case another supernatural came out and Zak couldn't stop it. This is stupid she sighed.
"Zak." She said, flipping her hair out of her face. He kept going. She tightened her grip on the dagger, really wanting to use it on him. "ZAK!" She yelled.
He whirled around, his blonde and silver hair going every which way. "Shut up! And what?" Zak snapped.
She pouted. "Can we leave? There's obviously nothing here. And if there is, I won't get to do anything! It's so boring! You don't even let me try! I've trained for a while and I'm pretty sure I can handle it." Madi pulled out a piece of gum out of her pocket and popped it in her mouth.
Zak pinched the bridge of his nose. She just didn't understand how dangerous they were. Madi knew he did that when he was frustrated. "There is something here, Madi. And I don't think so. You don't get it!"
"Get what? You never give me a freaking chance! It can't be that bad!" She said, exasperated. "I mean, a werewolf is a stupid dog, and a vampire is just a human with fangs!" She popped a bubble at the end of her sentance. She knew what she said was wrong but those kind of things come out of her mouth when she was furious.
Zak narrowed his eyes. If she wanted to see how bad they really were, she'd find out. "Fine. I'm leaving. Have fun dealing with whoever is out here. Alone."
He walked down the street, and out an alley, leaving Madi standing the street, stunned. He would just give her a little scare, because that would probably be the only way to get Madi to understand just how dangerous werewolves and vampires are.
Madi felt her mouth drop. He left her! He left her alone in a dark street with just a small dagger to protect herself. She always had Zak with her to protect her. Always. He was like her overprotective big brother. Without him, she felt...defenseless.
Madi had no idea where she was. It the bad side of the city, with crumbling rooftops and druggies on every corner. She didn't have any money, or her cell phone. Madi was not going to knock on a door so she could use someone's phone. There were bad, dirty people and Madi did not want to take that chance. Even simple hobos freaked her out. All that stench and dirt...just ew.
There were no cars, so she couldnt carjack. She was going to walk home in highheels. Madi was going to have blisters if she made it that far.
She sighed, defeated and started walking down the sidewalk, shivering. In her haste to go with Zak, in the hopes he would do something fun for a chance, forgot her coat. She was so going to have to get Zak back for this. As she was walking, she heard a snap from behind her. She turned around, trying in vain to see something-someone in the moonlight, but it was too dark. She started walking faster, hoping whoever it was would just go away. Again she heard something, something that sounded like footsteps, right behind her. Madi felt a shiver up and down her spine. She was now offically terrified.
Madi had just convinced herself she was being paranoid when something hard slammed her into the brick building. The force made the hold on her dagger loose, and it flew out of her hand. She gasped as pain shot up and down her back. It was like being hit by a car. Through the pain, she hoped her clothing didnt rip. She had paid hundreds of dollars on them.
Madi looked up on her attacker, and felt her eyes widen. She owed Zak an apology if he didnt kill her. It was too dark to see his face under all that shaggy hair but she could see the long fangs glint in the sunlight.
She didn't have Zak or a knife. She knew that she was going to die probably. Crap, she thought. She would've have swore outloud but her throat closed up in fear.

Zak watched her sigh and start walking up the sidewalk. He was just going to let her get scared, and then save her. He wouldnt really leave her like that, when the vampire stalking her was obviously starving. He was hidden in the alley, and rooftops.
Zak shifted into wolf form because it was so much easier to do this while being a wolf. He was a sandy colored wolf, with silver blue eyes. He jumped along the roofs, keeping an eye on both Madi and the vampire. He had every intention of being there when the vampire decided he was hungy enough to try to kill her. There was something..off about something here. He sniffed the air. Something else was here. He decided to follow the scent, momentarily forgetting about Madi.
(( :p Zak needs to get it together lol))
