Ketu leapt up onto the tallest rock, howling for his pack to come out of their dens. Not waiting for a single wolf to move, he slid back down onto the grass, padding briskly towards a group of wolves. Ketu narrowed his eyes at Indigo, a young male, full of potential, but he didn't seem to respond.

"Indigo." Ketu barked. "I would like you to take Bari on a hunt. That she-wolf hasn't moved from her rock in three days, I'm willing to bet." He nodded towards the yellow she-wolf, happily sunning herself on the rock, not seeming to notice Ketu's harsh words.

"Ru!" Ketu walked away from Indigo without waiting for a reply. "I'd like you to take a patrol with another wolf. Those Ashwood wolves could come in anyday."

"Ameru! Freya!" Vorlos called, walking through the pack territory, accompanied by Leto. Spotting both of them, Leto and Vorlos did a quick run-trot to the pair of wolves.

"Hey, Freya! Ameru!" Leto said cheerfully. "Vorlos and I were thinking of hunting. For, y'know, Tak. Who knows what mood he's in today." Vorlos nodded solemnly.

"Our Alpha's a strange guy. But I want to be just like Tak one day!" Vorlos puffed out his chest in pride, sounding like a young and eager pup. Leto barked a laugh, nudging him on the shoulder. The both of them settled down to hear the reply of Freya and Ameru. 

Indigo walked over to Bari. "Bari." He whispered, not sure if she was asleep or just sunniing herself. "Hey, Bari!" He said again since he had spoke so quietly that she probably hadn't heard him the first time. He wondered if Ketu had been exadurating when he said she hadn't moved from that rock in three days.

Ru tossed the bone she'd been chewing aside and stood up. She looked areound for someone to come with her. "Uh...okay," She said, sounding like she didn't really care. "Kaze!" she barked.

Kaze looked over at Ru wondering what she wanted. He was keeping guard and her barking at him wasn't helping. "what Ru?" he asked her before looking back where he was looking in the first place.

"Ketu told me I needed to take another wolf on patrol because the Ashwood wolves might be being too dumb to stay away from our borders again. So, yeah." She gestured towards the woods, hearing serveral birds chirping in the trees. "Let's go."

Bari lifted her head up at the sound of Indigo, lazily drawing a paw over her ear. Still maintaining her lying down position, Bari looked at Indigo.

"Calm down, Indigo." She drawled. "I heard you the first time." With surprisingly speed, she lifted herself up and landed neatly on the ground next to Indigo. "Seems like Ketu wants us to go on a hunting patrol?" She asked Indigo, tilting her head to one side.

Indigo nodded, suprised by how quickly Bari had come down from the rock. He'd thought she would've said something like 'no, don't wake me up.' but obviously he was wrong. "We'd probably have the best chance over by the lake, I'm sure there is prey there for water." Indigo said."But only if all the prey hasn't gone into Ashwood's meadow again." He sighed, "What do you think?" Indigo asked.

Ru followed Kaze, but was soon in front of him and leading the way. She looked up, hearing something, then saw a bird fly away, and realized that was all she had heard.

Kaze looked around. He could smell some scents. He wanted to make sure they where nothing "Ru I am checking these scents out" he said before running off to the scents.

Bari swayed her head side-to-side, implying that she was shaking her head. 

"I don't know, Indigo. I guess it's up to you to decide." She started chuckling to herself. Bari was always an odd wolf, and that was just one of her odd aspects: Chuckling to herself for absolutely no reason. Sometimes it alarmed other wolves, thinking that she was up to no good, which was something Bari was never up to. But Bari gave Indigo a friendly nudge, indicating that she was only joking, and padded towards the exit, pausing to look at Indigo over her shoulder.

"Well you coming or not?" She asked him, her tail swaying lazily. 

Indigo nodded and started off into the woods. "I think we should go to the lake first," He said, "There's usually the most prey there. We should probably not go for anything too big like moose or elk, after all, there's only two of us." He continued walking. "It's nice that the Ashwood wolves seem to be too afraid of us to come near our territory, we don't have to fight them. It's just so...easy."

Ru looked over at Kaze. "What scents?" She asked curiously. Seeing that he was leaving, going towards the scent, whatever scent it was, Ru followed him from a few feet away.

Ylva tripped and fell onto Kazumi. she struggled to get off as fast as she could, then laid down on the ground with her ears flat on her head, pleading eyes looking at Kazumi. "I-it was an accident! Please d-don't b-bite me..."

Kaze soon came across the scent of blood deer and some of the Ashwood pack. "This must be where they hunt" he said with a small growl with how close it was to where the pack was.

Kazumi looked at Ylva and smiled before licking her head "don't worry i know you didn't mean it" she said her tail wagging. She knew that it was an accident and didn't want her to be scared of her.

Kaze nodded before running back to tell Ketu.

Kazumi lay down next to her "yeah really." she said still smiling at her. she hated how bad Omega's where treated but knew they where needed.

Vorlos tilted his head towards north, with Leto following. 

"I heard Tak say that the elk may be moving into the fields today. He certainly would be proud of us if we brought home an elk or two." He replied.

"Maybe we can even hunt a male!" Leto piped in. "Tak really would be proud. The juvenile males wouldn't have full-grown horns yet, and they have enough meat to last us for days!" The two ginger wolves wagged their tail excitedly.

Bari swiped Indigo with a sheathed paw.

"Careful the way you talk, Indigo." The yellow she-wolf said in a warning tone. "It's pack custom to respect the other pack. Ketu may act like it, but he doesn't want to see the rival pack fall or anything." With a sigh, Bari continued on the silent walk next to Indigo, only speaking up when she scented something. "A deer, Indigo!" She said sharply.
