"Kage..." Kala said. She went over and nuzzled the Alpha. "I really am sorry about how this turned out..... I'm sad, too. If I were you, I know how I'd feel.." A single tear ran down her face. She then shook her head and turned to Sola, checking her over. "Kagetora, may I stay with Sola for a while? Her case of deaf seems stranger than normal ones.."

Kala mixed up some herbs. She then put them to Sola's mouth. Sola got the message. "Eaf?" she asked, to make sure. Kala nodded. Sola ate the herbs, and then made a face. "Ewwww!!" she said. Kala laughed, then got some juice from a certain herb. She indicated she would put it on Sola's ear by moving it close to her ear. "On ear?" Sola asked. Kala nodded. The pup was smart with motions. She rubbed the juice all over her ear, and went deeper inside. "Uhmmmmmmg!" Sola said. It was uncomfortable. Finally, after more tests and examining, Kala picked up Sola and dropped her by Kagetora. "I have come to a conclusion." she said. "Sola is deaf, yes. She hears usually nothing or very quiet, meaningless mumbles. BUT. But, but, but.... This is either permanent or may go away. " Kala smiled. But it soon turned into a frown. "But, you see, if it goes away... There is that chance that it would come back."

Kala replied to Kagetora first, "Yes. Possibly. But it's a rare chance of happening." She then turned to Trekka. "Deaf is when a pup is born with no hearing. You see, you can hear us, right? But your sister Sola can't hear us. She's deaf. Whatever we say, she doesn't hear a word." she explained to the little pup.

"No, sweetie. Don't try to lie to me. I know what's the truth," Kala soothed the pup. She nuzzled the little one. "Don't worry. It's fine.." (You said she was blind in her bio. Here, and I quote, "She is also blind and wishes she knew what it would be like to see." Or something like that. : )
