"Yes. The Ginko herbs, from the ancient folktale of Nox. Nox was the evil black wolf with dark black eyes. She destroyed the herbs, leaving Wikker, the minor God, to die. She wanted to gain more power. But Wikker survived amazingly and is now slightly more powerful than before. But Nox was still determined to kill off all the Gods," Kala said, telling the folktale. Her voice was partially muffled from the fur of Sola, but she soon got to camp. She laid Sola in the Medicine Den. "Now, I'll have to take to this poor pup. May I be left alone to work?" she asked politely to the two Alphas, setting up lots of herbs.

(Trekka's following along, I think. C; ) Kala nodded respectfully. "Your welcome. But keep in mind, Sola isn't quite saved just yet," she said grimly. She prepared the herbs even more, adding in water to some, getting moss soaked with water, mixing together herbs, and preparing for the long haul to revive Sola.

Trekka had listened to the story, and was very interested. "Who is Nox?" she asked. Kagetora watched nervously. |

"Nox is a very evil black wolf," Kala explained to the pup. "She wants to take over Lupus, our Wolf God, and rule the world. but Lupus won't let that happen, of course." Kala chuckled. She wet Sola's eyes with the moss ball. And then she wet her mouth, and ears, and paws. She watched for signs of anything. And very slowly and very unnoticibly, Sola's paw twitched. But it caught Kala's eye. Nobody else saw it. But Kala. She was experienced. And so, she knew Sola was alive and responsive to the water. Good. Good, good, excellent. She then opened Sola's jaws and put in lots of mixed herbs. She tilted the pup's head so it would slide down. This would help to get her body responsive, so it would digest, and if it digested, the other organs would respond and work in turn. So would her heart, it would realize it needed to pump blood. Kala then took the juice of an herb and stuck it on Sola's small, wet, black nose. As Kala was tending to some other herbs and getting more water-filled moss, the juice would drip into Sola's lungs. Nothing bad would happen. The lungs would become responsive. When Kala turned back, Sola was breathing better. But still unconcious. For now, Kala wet the pup's ears, eyes, and paws. Then she took another ball of moss and wiped off the juice from her nose. And that was all she could do right now. Sighing, she put Sola in a place to sleep until she awoke from her state of unconciousness. She called to Kagetora, "You can come in now. Now you may visit Sola. But she's still unconcious."

Kagetora stepped in and looked down at Sola. "Will she be okay, Kala?" She asked, hoping Kala knew the answer. Trekka nodded. "Why does Nox want to rule the world? Wouldn't that be hard?" |

"Well, Nox wants to take over and make the world the way she wants it to be. Which would be bad," Kala told the pup. Then she turned to Kagetora. "Well, Kage.. She's better for now, but it's hard to tell. She might wake up, might not. Her body might fail again, might not. It's all chances now. We can only hope she'll make it." Kala said grimly.

Kagetora nodded sadly. Trekka shook her head. "How could anyone want a bad world?" She asked. She thought the world was beautiful. And she couldn't even see it. |
