The last puppy came out. It was the smallest of all. Kala herself broke the sac on this one. She sighed. "This is the runt. It might not survive," she told Kagetora and Fang. She overlooked the puppies then. "Otherwise, all healthy. Three females."

Fang looked at Angel. He whimpered. " Kage, look." he said, close to tears. He pointed towards the tiny white pup. Angel lay there still.Her small heart was beating.

"The runt's not moving..." Kala said. "It may be born dead.." She looked sorrowfully at the parents. "I'm sorry." She pressed her ear to the small pup, checking for signs of life. (First pup born=Trekka Second pup born=Sola Third pup born=Angel Just so you know. ;) )

Angel let out a giggling yip. She moved her paws and tumbled over.Unusual for newborn pups, Angel opened her dark lavender eyes. She smiled at Kala.

"It's alive!" Kala gasped. She put the pup up to nurse. (That's rather impossible for a newborn pup to do. Roll over then smile? Sorry for criticism. I'm just a bit irritated today.)

( Okay, then forget it happened. I can tell your irritated.) Angel suckled for a little while, then stopped. Her tiny white body shivered. She wiggled under Kagetora's paws. Fang was bawling as he licked the pups. He looked at Kala, tears streaming down his face. " tell this to anyone and you are good as gone." he said, voice broken. He looked at the bigger white pup. " Sola, the other, the oneborn first, will be Trekka, and the last one, Angel." he said, smiling

(I know. Let's just ignore it, and say both parents took part in it. TIME-SKIP TO WHEN THEY ARE GOING TO WALK FOR THEIR FIRST TIME[Cuz I think that's a good time]!!!!) Sola tried to get up, but tumbled. She had not spoken yet. She was very quiet her first months.

Sola stood up for a moment, then wobbled, and toppled on top of her sister Trekka. She quickly rolled off and tried to stand again, but then fell and tumbled to her mother's stomach. She grunted, exasperated.

Kagetora sighed, and looked at Sola. "If you fall, I'll catch you, okay? Now let me show you how." Kagetora stood up. "Make sure you balance yourself, so all your weight won't go to one side."

Sola felt her mother stir. She looked up and saw her mouth moving. But only "Murrrrrrrr, Kiffnyukk," came out. Faint mumbles. Sola shook her head. She then cocked her head, not understanding why her mother wouldn't be clearer with her.
