Maka walked off into her secretive place by the lake and curled her body up into the snow. She whimpered and noticed she had began to cry. She pulled her paw up over her muzzle to cover her eyes.

Maka lay still. She didn't move, nor respond as if she never heard him. She watched the snow fall down onto the trees, and watched as the cardinals dance around,fluttering to take care of their new born babies."...I wish that could me.", she sighed.

Akila heard wimpering. She went outside the pup's den. There was the pup's mother, taking her last breath. The mother colapsed. Akila picked up the pup as the other wolves took care of the mother. Akila found Maka and Jotto. She sat the pup down, "Uh, guys...."She started out, hoping they would turn around.

Maka sniffed around at the forest and hung her head low, then collapsed. She tried not to move because it would only make it worse. She struggled but just collapsed. She lay vthere, still as night and let the snow beghin to cover her up.
