(ok then heres my intro) As he lifted his head from taking a drink in the nearby river, the wind blew into Astrals face and the scent of grass and flowers filled the air around him. He limped over to what he thought was a dead rat. he was correct, it was a rat, but not dead. as he sniffed it the rat came to its senses and bit Astrals nose, and it didnt hesitate to run away. Astral yelped as he got a nasty nip on the nose and it bled badly. Astral ignored the pain and walked till his feet hurt. in a single gust of wind, the sharp scent of female wolf caught him. he lifted his head immediately and twisted his ears round, listening for anything to do with a wolf. he could not hear anything, and he couldnt smell very well because of the blood on his nose, but this scent was so sharp it hurt. he knew there was a wolf around here somewhere. he followed the scent where it was strongest until he could walk no more. Astral lay down and looked around. in the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of a black wolf, but he ventured no further, as his pain was taking over his mind.

Leopard let Ashe greet the others and walked to her hole. Plopping down, she slowly closed her eyes and rested, letting her wounds heal a bit.

Shadow saw the wolf near her after she caught the scent in her nose. She turned and went towards him cautiously.

Astral looked at the wolf lazily. "uh... its just me. i must be seeing things." but as the wolf got closer, he found out that it wasnt his imagination. this was the wolf he had been smelling. Astral growled, not really knowing what else to do. he still lay on the ground, motionless in pain.

When Shadow heard the he-wolf growl she raised her head high,but her tail tucked between her legs. She got closer to him. She saw the pain in his eyes and lowered her head. "What happened?",she asked quietly.

"nothing." Astral managed to mumble, and he slowly got up, wondering why this wolf would not chase him off. "im just a bit tired-" astral paused to take a little more pain in. "thats all." He limped over to a tree and slumped up against it. he yawned and shivered. Astral was not frightened, as he has had many expiriences of wolves. he now ignored the she-wolf and slowly limped up the hill where she had come from. he wanted to know where she came from, and if there were more wolves about. he saw a black bird and caught it in his jaws, then to devour it and that gave him a suddnen boost of energy. astral ran over the hill and out of sight.

it just so happened that astral tripped up, rolled over and hit his head on a rock. "fine." he said, getting up fro his crash and cleaning the blood from his forehead.

"Uh... I guess..." Astral mumbled. He found this she-wolf very interesting, and would probably just join her pack to find out more about other wolves. Astral often found himself mistaking squirrels for wolves.

Astral scoffed at shadows words. "show off." He mumbled under his breath. "Good for you." He now spoke louder. Astral nodded and closed his eyes sarcastically. He did not say his name back. He turned his back on shadow and sat down.
