Spirit looked at him and smiled back,"Thanks.",she said turning her head to look outside the den hoping winter would end soon and she could see the spring flowers come back to life.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Zack got up and looked out of the den with her. He could imagine the trees growing new leaves and the snow melting away making room for grass and flowers.

Spirit didn't answer him she just kept pawing the ground and thinking about how long it would be till' spring came.

Renn was laying down with the pups in the other cave giving Zack and Spirit some more time alone. |

Spirit went slowly down the mountain in fear if she ran down it she might trip and hurt the developing pups inside of her.
