Renn understood where Jaidlan was coming from. She guessed she would be up set too if someone came along and stole her friend from her. She would have followed but figured that she needed some time alone. Renn padded back over to Spirit and Zack.

Spirit slightly nipped Zack's leg,"I've taken down tis mighty beast of doom!",then she smiled really big and ran in circles around the 'dead' Zack.Spirit layed down after circling him 12 times and yawned.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Jaidlan could see Zack and the pup from inside her den, however she didn't turn away. May be her and the small pup could become friends. She saw Zack curl up with the pup they called Spirit. But for now, Jaidlan would refuse to call the pup by her name.
Jaidlan remembered when she used to take naps with Zack. They were just as close, if not closer, than her and Renn. She smiled as she remembered the times when she would play fight with the handsome young wolf. Then she sighed, pulling her red tail over her bright pink nose.
Naela was busier than ever, healing sick wolves and pups during winter was not fun. Sometimes she wished she wasn't the Sark. But she wasn't really considered the Sark any more, more like the Healer, because that's what she truly loved to do was heal her fellow pack mates. Jaidlan really took the ti
tle Sark. She was the one that did the forgetting and mind reading and help with personal matters.
Naela saw her friend starring at Zack dreamily. I wonder when she will tell him... But the gray wolf just smiled to herself and continued mixing herbs.

Zack looked up from the pup to see Jaidlan in her den watching them. She stood up carefull not to wake up Spirit and motioned for Jaidlan to come over. He knew she was sad and jealous by the way she was looking at the two of them but since the pup was sleeping he could put his attention on Jaidlan.
He hated how Jaidlan and him were so close but he could already tell that Spirit, though she didn't mean to, was already splitting them apart. He gave Jaidlan and warm smile as he crouched down into a play bow, "Don't tell me your too old for this already." he said jokingly knowing that she loved playing like this with him. |

Zack was crouching in attack mode. He was smiling his charming smile at her that she hated only because it made her feel like she was melting. She stood up and whisked her tail across his nose. "Oh, Zack. Don't worry."
She spun around and jumped on him, making him fall to the ground. "I will never forget this!" She growled and clawed his ears and bit his scruff. He rolled on top of her, pinning her down. Her heazrt stopped and skipped a beat. He was starring into her eyes. She blinked and smiled at him, showing her teeth and making her eyes close. It was her biggest smile ever.
She summoned up all her strength and rolled him over so that she was on top of him. His amber eyes smiled with laughter. She let out a burst of laughter and with out meaning to, licked his cheek. He starred at her shocked. Oh no! Oh no, no, no, no! Why did I just do that? He can't find out that I like him!
She straightened up and ran into her den, eating the piece of meat left for her. All Zack could do was stare at her.

Zack growled playfully at Jaidlan as she pinned him to the ground but he quickly flipped them over so that he was on top. She smiled which in turn made him smile and then she flipped them over again. She smiled down at him and suddenly she licked him. He stopped smiling and only stared at her. She...wait no...it couldn't be...but that would explain....yes. He thought. He started to smile but as he was thinking he hadn't noticed her rushing back to her den and again his smile faded.
He had known Jaidlan since she was a pup and he was her friend back then, now aswell. He liked her, he liked her a lot but he shrugged it off thinking that he only liked her as a friend after all they had known each other for a long time but now, now that he knew she liked him back, it just stirred his feeling more and knew that what he felt for a couple months now wasn't just friendship. Zack stood up clearin his throat and shaking out his fur. Zack wasn't a very serious wolf so he wasn't all too sure how to asses this serious situation but he decided to wing it. He padded over to Jaidlans den and peeked his head inside, "Hey uh...Jaidlan...I uh....we should talk." He said and imediatly knew that that was not the right thing to say. Jeez your going to make her feel like she's in trouble or something. He scolded himself on the inside. |

Spirit whined as she awoke to see that Zack was not there and then wandered off into some nearby woods to look for him,thinking he was hiding in there and then when she found out that she was lost because she had went deeper and deeper into the forest.She whined and yelled for Zack.Spirit yelped hearing the who-who of a owl and dashed for a nearby bush,then yelled once more as loud as she could,"Zack,Renn,save me!!"

Renn had watched Spirit wander into the forest and had followed her silently trying to see if she could smell her way back to the pack or even just to her. She needed to work on her hunting, tracking, and fighting skills soon and starting with basics now wouldn't hurt.

Spirit whimpered knowing they wouldn't come help her so she called out,"Fine,be that way.",then wandered back the way she came not paying attention to any smell,but the one she left behind on her way to the woods.

Renn smiled and let out a silent laugh before she came up from behind Lily and picked her up by the scruff, "You didn't think I wasn't watching you did you?" Renn said through Spirits fur.

"Uh...want me to teach you hunt?" Renn asked trying to change the subject. She didn't want to spill Jaidlans secret to a blabber mouthed pup. She liked Spirit but she knew that when she was pup when you told her somthing you better be ready for everyone to know about it.
