Raven smiled as she couldn't hear Spirit's soft quiet paw steps, So far nicely done for a pup. She thought quickly before putting all her focus back on the sounds around her. Birds still and a small stream yards away but not the pup. She imagined the tiny fluff ball crouching low to the snow the fur on it's stomach frushing the soft white powder it's tiny paws sinking into the cold as it took carefull silent steps.

Spirit held back her silent giggles so she would be even quieter and pounced on Renn's back letting out a small pupish battle cry.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

OoC: I profusely apologize for not being active for so long. Got tons of homework to do. And my finals are just around the corner. I'm really sorry. I'm not quite sure where we are, so I guess I'll just jump in.
Lucis watched the pup avidly as he practiced. She had always wanted a younger sibling herself, and felt a strange affection for little Spirit. But something was nagging at her heart at the moment and she knew what it was. Zack. And Jaidlan. She knew there was something between them, but she had no idea it was this strong. Jaidlan loved him. As much as she. More than she. More importantly, Zack loves her too. They'll be happy with each other, she thought, rather glumly. Lucis gazed absentmindedly at a pair of butterflies that were fluttering close together, and realised that it was seeing them that made her think of this. One of the butterflies had wings the colour of Zack's eyes. She blinked in amazement, and her ex
pression turned into annoyance. I'll find someone... Shrugging her shoulders, she hopped up and walked away with her usual air of nonchalance, though this time it was slightly forced.

((again, so sorry for not being on for a while. i just got my own laptop, finally!, and so i should be on more often. So srry again. nice to see ya wolfwinx!! c;))
Jaildan drifted off into an uneasy sleep. Sometimes she had dreams that had signs. It was because she was a wolf unlike the others, including the other malchads.
She was in a forest. It was not an ugly, dark forest, but it wasn't the most beautiful one she had seen either. Jaidlan trotted off onto a path that had rose bushes surrounding both sides. Soon she was in a clearing. In the clearing were Zack and Lucis. They were happy and playing around together. Zack pinned down Lucis and liked her nose.
Jaidlan let out an irritated growl. "Lucis!! What are you doing?!" Lucis just looked at her smuggly as Zack walked over to her.
"You took too long to let me know how you felt. Now I've moved on. Sorry, your loss, Jaidlan."

"I need something to get m mind off of this for the time being." Zack said guietly as he looked around the now bustling pack.rn He could talk to any one since he was friends with all of them but non rnof them seemed to be the right wolf at the time. They were all busy and rnrushing around and such. Zacks eyes caught the last bi of Lucis walking into the forest and smiled as he bounded over to her.
"Hey you bus?" he asked slowing down to her speed. She didn't seem busy by her leasurely pace but she seemed to be thinking about something. Zack gave her a warm smile like he did to every one. Giving them a smile always seemed to make them open up even if that wasn't his intention. Lucis was obviously thinking about something unpleasant and she was trying to hide it but her stiff gate and forced air of uncaringness that she was carrying was transparent. Zack didn't ask what she was thinking about though, 'If she isn't telling me then I have no business knowing.' He told himself.

Jaidlan woke up yowling with rage. Her fur was bristled and ruffled. She was sweating and her heart was beating rapidly. I just need some water and fresh air probably. It was just a bad dream. She sat up and shook out her fur.
After she was done giving herself a quick grooming, Jaidlan walked out of her den. What did that dream mean, if it had a meaning? When she got to the stream near the entrance of the camp, she heard Zack's voice. Jaidlan looked over her shoulder and saw him talking to non other than Lucis. Jaidlan growled. Even if it was a dream, something felt real about it.
Jaidlan stood up straight, shook out her fur, and walked towards Zack. She whisked her tail across his muzzle and looked at him. She blinked her eyes a couple of times and smiled. She wasn't faking this around him, she always acted a little goofy around him. "Hey Zack. Wanna go out on a walk, together? Alone?"
She looked at Lucis and thought she saw a little bit of annoyance on her face and anger and hatred in her eyes. Jaidlan nodded slightly at her and turned back to Zack.

"I-uh..." Zacks knees grew weak a bit but he didn't fall. He looked to Lucis," We'll talk later." he said before looking to Jaidlan and nodding,"Sure." he said his voice excited.

Lucis blinked again. She looked from Zack to Jaidlan, and back to Zack. " Okay, sure." she said, feeling awkward. Lucis caught the change of tone in Zack's voice, and her heart twisted. Ouch. That kinda hurt. She had to bite down hard on her tongue to keep from saying that out loud. Zack really did want to talk to Jaidlan. Obviously. " I'll, um, be around," she pointed her muzzle vaguely to some direction and hurriedly walked away. When they were out of earshot, Lucis stopped and sat down under a tree. She didn't want to hear what they were saying. She wanted to talk to Zack, tell him exactly how she felt about it all, which was her usual way. Now she'd have to wait. How she hated waiting.

Jaidlan was surprised that Zack sounded so excited. Could it mean.. No, it couldn't be... "OK, then. Let's go!!" She got behind him and started pushing him forwards playfully. He looked back at her with his warm amber gaze. She felt like she was going to faint. She smiled stupidly and her knees felt weak.
"Jaidlan, I..." She shook her head and started to run. She looked back and saw that he looked confused and only had taken a couple of steps.
"C'mon, Zack. Whatever it is, it can wait, k? Hurry, or we'll miss it!!"
Zack smiled weakly and started to run after her, while in the shadows lurked Lucis.

Lucis stared after them. In other circumstances, she would have ran with them. Not now. No way. She lay her head on her paws and waited for them, or rather, for Zack, to get back.

Zack looked behind him at Jaidlan as she pushed him hurriedly into the forest a weak grin on her lips. He smiled warmly to her then looked over Jaidlans head to Lucis who looked a bit sad to say the least. Zack looked back to Jaidlan, "Jaidlan I-" but he couldn't finish before the she-wolf bolted out from behind him and into the woods. He chased after her quickly gaining ground untill he could stop infront of her, "Jaidlan I can't go on the walk with you yet. Lucis is sad and I need to talk to her alright?" He didn't wait for her answer befor walking back to where Lucis was. He walked up next to her and nudged her side, "Hey whats wrong?" He asked looking at her. He sat down in front of her ready to listen. |

Renn chuckled lightly and flipped Spirit onto her back and nuzzled her stomach lightly, "Ya sure did." she said lifting up her muzzle and looking down at the tiny ball of fur. She stood up and crouched down and poked Spirit with her noes before trotting off yelling, "Tag your it!"

Spirit ran faster as she became scared of the weird footprint her splayed paw made in the white winter snow.

Raven turned around slowing her pace as she heard Spirit give off whimpers and yells as she looked down at her own paw prints in the snow. Raven trotted over to Spirit and looked down at her worriedly, "Whats wrong kid?" she asked looking the pup over to make sure she wasn't hurt. She turned the pups onto her stomach but saw nothing of concern. Raven sat down in front of Spirit and waited for her to saw something.

Lucis sat up, mildly surprised. She looked over and noticed Jaidlan standing there. Turning back to Zack, she took a deep breath. "Look, I've got something to tell you." she said and paused, wondering how to begin. "Well, you see, I really like you. You're charismatic, funny, cute, and altogether a really nice guy. So I guess it's no surprise Jaidlan fell in love with you." She gave a rueful sort of smile. "But I know you love her too, and you guys are great together." She got up and walked toward Jaidlan. "You're one lucky wolf, Jade. I'm glad you've got someone who'll never see you sad." Lucis flicked her tail affectionately at Jaidlan's face, and turned back to Zack. "But we'll still be best pals, right, Zack-o?" she grinned mischievously at him and swished her tail playfully.

"I...uh...um...I need to think...I think...."Zack was confused(though that doesn't mean much coming from him). Now he new that two of his best friends liked him. He knew that he liked Jaidlan but now that Lucis had told him that she had feeling for him too he think he might like her as well. He didn't want to hurt either of them. He could tell by her smile that Lucis wouldn't be alright if he chose Jaidlan and he just had a feeling that Jaidlan wouldn't like it the other way around. Zack looked at both of them as he backed away a couple steps before turning and rushing off. He need to think...and talking might help too but he didn't where to think, since he didn't usually need to hard, or who to talk too about something like this. Zack saw Renn and little baby Spirit in the medow. He bounded over to them and skidded to a hault just befor them. "Renn...I uh...need to talk."He sounded worried and confused and it sounded weird coming from him so Renn knew something was definatly wrong. "What is it? Wait did you accidentally wake up a bear again. Oh jeez Zack what did I tell you!" Renn shook her head and stood up picking Spirit up in her mouth as she started to walk to the Alpha to let her know. "Ugh no it's worse." Zack said jumping in front of Renn and taking Spirit out of her mouth and setting her down. He looked down at the pup and carefully covered it's ears so it wouldn't hear. "Whats worse than an angry bear following you to camp?!" "Just..just listen alright. And speak of this to no one." Zack took in a deep breath before starting, "I have girl problems." He started and scowled at Renn when she started laughing, "Stop it I need you to be serious. I need help." "Fine fine alright It's just I never thought you would have girl problems." "Well um..I guess both Jaidlan and Lucis like me..." He trailed off and looked down at the ground, "And well I don't know which one I like more. I've known I liked Jaidlan longer but I think thats just because I've had to spend more time with her helping you train her and stuff but once Lucis told me she liked me..well..I don't know..." He looked up at Renn pleadingly. "Well little bro I don't know what to tell you. I can't pick for you." Renn nuzzled Zack softly. "Are you sure you couldn't just pick one for me and then go tell the other?" Renn laughed a little bit but shook her head, "Fine fine." Zack leaned down and licked Spirits head before walking away.
