Ix frowned and sat down infront of him. She'd like to try and heal him but healing magic was not her strongest point and she knew that if she did something wrong she could cause more harm than help. She looked over to where Ren was and noticed she was bussy with Cypher. She looked back to Hyena and couldn't help but admire him somewhat. When she had broken her arm she'd cried for at least an hour but he wasn't crying at all. She wracked her brain for something she could do and remembered a sort of pain numbing spell that would ease his discomfort. "Ren seems busy... I don't know many healing spells and I'm not so good at them but I know a spell that could numb the pain a bit. Would you like for me to use it?" she asked him quietly.

"Yes, please. Anything that can help, Hyena would like it." Hyena sat up and took his shirt off; upon looking down at his chest, he saw the purple bruising of the ribs he'd broken. "Ouch." He let out a sigh, wondering how he'd managed that. "If something doesn't work, he will fix it as best he can, so do not worry about messing up. He will not be mad."

Ix nodded and lifted her hands. She began to mutter the spell and her hands glowed a soft green blue. She held her hands a few inches from his chest and let the light wash over the bruise hopeful that it would work in easing the pain.

Hyena's breath left him in a small whoosh as the pain subsided. "You are not so useless in healing as you might think," he told her. "Maybe you can work on your healing spells, they are not very difficult to learn, at least not simple ones for pain and such."

"If you're sure...but please tell me if you're in pain like that again, alright?" Renali sighed, the worry still creased on her face. "Don't hide it. I might not be able to do too much, but at least allow me to help." The girl's tone was sincere; never had she seen someone look so hurt. She sat still, collecting herself, and then stood up slowly with a wobble. "Hyena...Ix..." she called to them. Her gaze was blurry, but she focused herself. "Are you two okay as well? What should we do now? Saiferr is near..." Ren's eyes lit up slightly; with all the commotion, she did not notice that the city was already in view. Tall buildings could be seen, as well as the shadowed, little figures of people.

(Sorry, computer crashed, I'm sooo glad I saved everything on email before hand DX. Also, sorry for the writers block! ) Ix gave a small smile at the bit of praise and stood as well still worrying for her friend. She turned back to look out to the distance and was a bit surprised to be able to see Saiferr so close, just a bit longer and they'd be there, she felt her eagerness spike slightly.

Hyena struggled to move, but he didn't complain about his being hurt. He merely limped toward the city, having to trust in the others to follow if he wanted to keep what breath he had left. Unfortunately for him transforming in this state was dangerous, so he was stuck as a human until he healed. "Damn," he sighed softly.

(Yarg, I could've sworn I hit send! Sorry, I guess my last post didn't go through) Ix followed behind Hyena, sad to see his discomfort. She wished she could heal him but that was not a feild of magic she had looked very far into. It wasn't very far till they got there, she could probably run ahead and find them somewhere to stay. "Would you like for me to go ahead?" she asked. "I could probably find an inn where you could rest" she said.

Ix gave a small nod and ran forward, happy now for her new clothing. She slowed to brisk walk as she entered the town and looked around. "Um... excuse me?" she questioned several people walking by. Many of them didn't even spare her a glance. She gave a flustrated sigh, she was in no mood for this. "Excuse me?" she asked again, and this time someone stopped. She asked them if there was an inn where they all could stay and got directions. She smiled an thanked the kindly person before rushing off to find the place. It took her a bit to find it but she did eventualy. She wasn't sure of how much money they had left but she knew she'd need more and so she struck a deal with the inn keeper, she'd be working there for a while for her room and some money. After thanking the inn keeper she left, going back to the others so that she could take them there.

Hyena had managed to make it to the town entrance, and had there collapsed. He wouldn't be able to do anything until his body was healed. Just like all the other times he'd been seriously hurt, people merely continued on their way, ignoring him. No one moved to help him; it was clear Saiferr had forgotten about Hyena, which got him thinking.

Ix spotted Hyena on the ground and rushed to his side, a wave of panick rushing through her. She resisted the urge to ask him if he was okay, he's obviously not if he's laying on the ground she told herself. "H-Hyena" she said. "I don't know what to do to help" her voice was soft and full of worry. She looked to the distance, waiting for their other companions, they should be able to help him.

Renali arrived shortly after; her breathing was ragged. When she reached Hyena and Ix, her eyes shimmered with alertness. Immediately, she took something from her bag, uncapped it and offered it to Hyena. It was nonvolatile, but swirled with dark colors of aqua and onyx. "This is something we guards used when we're in critical condition; I only kept a few since they're mostly off-limits. But it should help you though. Ix, will you make sure Hyena drinks it? And will you point me to the inn? We need all of ourselves fixed before we do anything else." She rubbed her eyes wearily, thinking of how they'll find the Saiferr alliance.

Hyena looked upset. He didn't like making his companions worry, it was... well, upsetting. He managed to sit up and take the gl*censored* bottle from Renali, but he almost dropped it so he put it on the ground. "Hyena is sorry, he does not mean to upset you," he said. "He is just not used to this pain."

She looked up at Renali "um, you go down that main street take a left at the secont turn you see, keep going down that street till you get to a two way street, turn right, the inn is the fifth building down on the left side of the street" she told her with a small nod.

Hyena was quiet, still feeling bad. "Hyena does not suppose you will stop worrying about him?" he asked softly. He knew it was a natural human reaction to worry about hurt people, or at least companions, but just like a few other feelings he was unused to it. "Ix, do a favor and find the medics, take a right here and then a left down the first street you see; they are at the very end, not far at all..."

"Don't take my belongings, boy," she snapped as she grabbed his withdrawing hand that was only a few centimeters away from her bag. "If you're gonna do that, then don't be so obvious next time." She let him go with a sigh, seeing his tattered clothes and hungry ex
pression. Ren flipped him a few coins. "No charity ma'am, but much thanks anyway!" The boy smirked. "I o'erheard you talking about Saiferr. You seem like you know your stuff, ma'am. Would you be looking for the alliance?" His voice dropped to an audible whisper. Renali smiled slowly. She liked the boy. "Yes. Will you tell us where they reside?" "The bartender at the inn is a recruiter. Just mention my name: Slip." With that, the boy skidded off to pickpocket another victim, leaving the girl with an amused ex
pression. Loudly sighing, she headed for inn and went straight to the man behind a polished wood counter. "Drinks, m'lady?" He raised a brow at her boyish clothes that only complimented her feminine face. "Free of charge." "No thank you...but Slip directed me here. Are you free? I'd like to introduce you to my friends." Ren flashed a warm smile. The barkeeper, serious at the mention of the name, put a sign on the counter that read, "Break" and ushered Renali to the door. "Lead the way, lady. That Slip sure knows how pick 'em." "Quite so." After a few minutes, the two reached Hyena and Ix.
