You think you are the only one who has been forced here? I was too, and let me tell you something, I am not going to let that ruin my entire life. You might as well suck it up and start trying to move up in ranks, cause everything in this stinkhole gets better the higher you get. I made it up to the second man in charge of the first Calvary brigade, and if I can do that, the scum on my shoe can do that.
Kyle didn't mean to be so hateful, but this guy was getting on his nerves.
Look, he said softly you can either spend your time being a lazy pig, or you can be productive and get somewhere in life. It's your choice.

He shook his head and turned a round. The works the man had said didn't affend him at all, he's herd worse from his brother. He was moody because his was forced, and because of his mental illness, it made him like that on ocations. He tied the reins too a poole and walkked into his tent.

Kyle sighed. There was no doubt that there was truth to what he had said: if you want your life to stink, that's your choice, and no one but yours. That man was definitely different, Kyle just wasn't sure whether it was in a good way or a bad way. He rode off to go find a nurse for a wound he got on his leg earlier that day.

He soon relized he had no medication. He snorted and walked out. He untied the stallion and mounted onto the horse. He then rode the the nurses station and unmounted. He left his hore untied at the entrance. He walked in and pationetly wated.

Kyle saw Chance's stallion outside of the medical tent.
Great, of all the places he could be...
He sighed at the thought of the new recruit, so unfriendly. He sucked up his feelings and went inside.

Ah yes, your medication. Just a moment.
She kneeled down and took out a container filled with medication, labeled 'Chance.' She handed it to him and turned to Kyle.
I dont mind, come on in.
She walked to a open bed space and grabbed some light but thick bandages. She told Kyle to lay down and she pulled out a chair to sit on. She waited for Kyle to lay down so she could start wrapping them around his leg wound. |

Kyle did as he was told and lay down. He hoped she would start immediately, his leg was starting to throb and it might get infected.

She got to work straight away, dabbing ointments and wrapping up the wound. She put steralisers and everything nessesary that needed to be put on to heal properly. Once finished wrapping and whatnot, she put a brace on the leg to try to prevent limping and put some medicine on the wrappings to make the wound feel a little numb and not hurt as much.
There you go, all nice and ready. Try not to put anything on it, though, because it will possibly get infected because of it. |

"Thanks Heather..." he said and took the contanier. He walked out and mounted onto the stallion and grabed the reins. He wanted to make up to Kyle, and apoligize.

He smiled and waved at the nurse, and he realized how pretty she was. He left the tent, and mounted his horse.
Now to go back to my tent.

Chance pulled back on the reins and unmounted off his horse after he arrived. He tied the reins too the stump like post and walked in. Their he took his medication and sighed..
