Ooc; Ohgosh, more people. x3 I need to ask Shad, as she's my co-owner and she defined the amount of people to join. So don't edit your bio quite yet. D: Since you might not be able to join.

Ooc; Seren, you're allowed to join this rp if you still want to. Unfortunately, since you posted after Seren and we want to keep the numbers down, you can't join Reina. ^^ Sorry about this.

Ooc; For western dragons you are free to mix the colors given, and lighten/darken them if you wish. However, you can't take blue and say you want to make it turquoise, since that's mixing two colors. :3 Sorry if it's confusing. Also, try not to make your dragon like, the gypsy king, with fifty billion different colorings. Dragons are built to survive, so you wouldn't have a rainbow one gallivanting through the woods or something. xD
Otherwise, Jethro and Alcyone are fine. :3

Ooc; We can do the intros as you finish your dragon bio, since they aren't there yet. :3
So everyone knows, we start with them receiving EGGS, not baby dragons. I've also posted an aging system on the first page, which we can use as we role-play. I haven't decided when we'll skip ahead to learning to ride dragons, but rest assured we won't have to deal with useless dragonets for the entire time. xD I'll post my intro first. <3 Just to give you some details. For simplicity's sake Branwen is already at the school, having spent her summer there.

The academy grounds looked much the same as they had when Branwen first arrived: Immaculate, green and empty. The undulating hills arched gently away from the large building that dominated the center of this acreage. It rose high above the emerald sea of grass, dark gray stone stark against its lighter surroundings. This structure had an appearance similar to that of a English castle, tall and built to last. Though there was no moat to protect against invaders nearby a large river bubbled alongside, a long wooden bridge spanning the gap. From the battlements crimson flags flapped in the gentle zephyrs, revealing at times a bright golden motif. Traipsing the grassy field that led to the large gates of the academy Branwen let one hand brush through the stalks, their bushy heads tickling the pale skin lightly. A serene smile floated over her face as her bare feet met a cobblestone road that led straight through the colossal oak gates that stood open regardless of weather or situation. Humming a small tune to herself Branwen trotted through the doors and into a wide courtyard, also paved with smooth, worn stonework. Here was where she would wait for the newcomers to arrive, each waiting for their chance at learning how to care for and ride these magnificent beasts of the air. Dragons. Above her Branwen knew that every few moments one of those behemothic creatures would wing past, brilliantly colored forms bright against the pale blue sky. Some would be the great Western dragons of legend, fearsome leviathans who hoarded more jewels than one could imagine and oft times kidnapped young princesses. Some would be the majestic Eastern dragons, their lithe, cat-like forms soaring in the sky with nary a wing to hold them up. Sighing with contentment she settled herself down on a long stone bench that lined the walls of the courtyard, shaded by a strategically placed cherry tree. Leaning back Branwen pulled up her legs and hugged her knees to herself in an almost nervous gesture, blue eyes regarding the entrance almost warily.

Katrina had arranged for her own way down to the dragon riding academy that was nestled peacefully in a land of its own. Her light blonde hair swirled around her face and her brown eyes scanned the air below her. She stretched out her arms to their full extent and glanced down at the dizzying drop below her. She was on the top of a cliff and the wind was filtering around her back and to her destination. A slight smile tugged at the girl's lips and she bent down to grasp the metal bar of her hang glider. The light blue material that made up the wings of the glider shielded the sun from her eyes as she held the bar in front of her. With another hand, she expertly twisted a clasp from the glider onto her harnass on her back. She gripped the handle bar tightly, knuckles white from a sudden burst of excitement that flooded through her veins. She waited for another gust of wind and from behind, the glider lifted up, its large wings catching the air like sails. Katrina kicked off of the cliff and let out a gasp as she dipped the glider down and the contraption flowed leniently through the gentle wind. Katrina's smile pulled down on the edges as she realized she was losing altitude too quickly. "Wind's not strong enough," she murmured. "No matter," she thought as she leaned her body slightly to the left. The glider moseyed its way through the air and came close to grazing the edge of a rock face; another cliff. "Ridge lift," Katrina said with a smile as the glider began to rise against the wind that was being forced upward from meeting the side of the cliff. When she angled herself correctly; toward the Academy, she found her brown eyes scanning the sky. A rainbow of color would spark just behind the Academy, but she could never catch sight of the marvelous creatures. She narrowed her eyes and scanned the air once again, her grin widening when an Eastern dragon snaked its way through the skyline just above the Academy. "Amazing," she murmured, though she more prominently revered the European dragons. Something about their cat-like structures and the way their wings caught the wind like her glider made her love them. She glanced down and saw ground approaching quickly, the Academy suddenly before her. Daydreaming again, she thought with an inward sigh. She landed on the ground in a staggering run before toppling over slightly. She could never get the hang of landing properly and quite more than a few times had Katrina broken her ankles because of it. She unclipped her harness and folded the glider up by unclasping a few strong bonds that were made when in flight. When that was done, she shouldered her glider and approached the Academy's door. There was a courtyard around her and she blinked once when she realized there was another person here. She got to see my fabulous failure of an entrance, Katrina thought with a smile to herself. "Hey there!" Katrina said warmly as she regarded the person. Ooc; Hang gliding. Hope it's okay? xD

[[ Uh, I'll just have Nate and Ari also start off inside the Academy, hope that's okay, Det oAo ]] Ari poked her head from behind the building, watching as a few people started to finally arrive at the academy. Having arrived yesterday, Ari was bored out of her mind, spending most of the day unpacking and wandering the halls. There, she had met another kid, a sullen boy named Nate. Ari had dragged him along on her little journeys, though all he did was sigh and pull her away from danger. "Are you done staring, Ari?" Nate said. He was leaning against the stone walls of the academy, a bored look on his face. "Shh, be quiet, Nate!" Ari said, quickly retracting her head and hiding behind the walls alongside Nate. "More people are coming in!" She seemed excited, but Nate didn't seem impressed. Instead, he contented himself with a roll of his eyes, crossing his arms and resuming a silent sulk.

Jade sat in the cool gras.s, gazing up at the clear blue sky while the warmth of the sun's rays enveloped her. Her jet black hair sprawled out around her like a shadowy halo, her blue eyes flashing as they reflectede the sun's light. Her breathing was deep and even, much like that of a sleeping person, but she was merely watching the clouds and meditating of a sort. She and her brother had arrived a bit early to the school, just hanging out for a couple of days until it actually started. Neither of them had been apart of the Summer program but their parents wanted them out of the house sooner and so they dropped them off early so they could start vacation. They were the only people Jade knew of to take a vacation at the beginning of the school year. It made no sense to her what so ever. With a sigh, Jade closed her eyes and just lay there for a a moment until a large shadow blocked the sun. Without needing to look up, she already knew what had blocked her view. Her brother. "What?" She snapped, her eyes sliding open to look at her twin. Jake just smiled and shrugged his shoulders, his attitude completely different from his twin sister's. They were very similar in looks, with the glossy black hair and brilliant blue eyes but that's were the similarities pretty much ended. Her eyes always held some sort of cold, mean element to them while Jake's were full of energy and adventure. You could hardly ever find him not smiling, and it was rare to see a genuine smile from Jade. Jake shuddered at the thought. A smile from Jade always ment a twisted plot behind it. Her scariest when she was arguing with someone, a smile that even the greatest writer could not describe. Standing to her feet, Jade smoothed out her hair and turned to the school. With out another word she was walking up and inside the building. JAke sighed and followed behind her, easily keeping up with her swift pace. ((It fails. I'm sorry.))

Ooc; Give me a reason why they're there early and that's fine. <3 Perhaps their parents couldn't come today or something. o3o I will wait for all the other intros. Then I'll post again. ^O^
Em, you wouldn't mind trying to organize your posts with paragraphs? One huge bulk is really difficult to read smoothly. D: Not to criticize your writing, but it might make it easier to understand. At least, for me. :P
Perfectly fine Shad. ;D I love your entrance.

Faile sighed as she neared the school, pressing her face out of the window of the limousine. Had her mother been there, she would have been reprimanded for not acting the part of the lady. However, her mother and father had elected to send their little princess off on her great adventure all alone. Faile was so excited she thought she might burst. Her blonde hair fluttered wildly in the breeze, the golden curls slipping from their pins. Soon, the school came into view and Faile squeeled in joy. As they were passing the gates, she saw two other young women and she yelled at her driver to stop. With a bounce and a "Thank you!" called over her shoulder, Faile ran to greet the others, smiling her infectious smile. "Hi! I'm Faile!" Garrett roared into the school grounds on his motorcycle, fighting for control. The motor was going out and he was having a hard time keeping it from going out. Suddenly the front wheel struck a rock and he spun. Thankfully, he was able to get it back under control, but, hopping off, he realized that his front tire was blown. Sighing, he looked down the road and saw a limousine dissapearing in the dust. Cursing, Garrett moved back to the seat and straddled the bike, wiping his hand across his close cropped hair. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a trio of attractive young ladies and heard one of them call a greeting. When she turned to him with a smile, he was so startled that he and the bike fell over, uncerimoniously. ((Hope this is better.))

Ooc; Fyre, this is modern day times. :P Sorry if I gave the impression otherwise, but it's around 2004-2012 right now. xD The castle grounds only seem old because they have no need for modern transport etc. :U
