Plot: There are a weapons manufacturing corporation that goes by the name of BioMech. They're attempting to produce a new line of immortal beasts, that can only be killed using a special serum only they have access to. However, through an untracable line of warehouses and offshore bank accounts, they are also funding an identical research programme in Japan, feeding a war that will never end if it ever starts. It is down to a small group of people to attempt to find a way in and get the serum, so they can mass produce a gas form of it for the inevitable war of the immortals. Bio Skelly: Name: Age: Gender: Appearance: Personallity: History: Other Details(If any): Rules: 1) No godmodding - As in do not make your character unkillable and undefeatable, this makes any fight scenes useless and monotonous. 2) No powerplaying - As in do not control the characters of other RP'ers, this can annoy and irritate those RP'ers into leaving the RP. 3) This is a literate RP, so try to maintain well detailed and good length posts, though a few shorter will be forgivable I'm sure. 4) To prove you've read the rules, post 'Methuselah!' before posting your bio.

Methuselah~ *whatever it may mean* [sorry I took so long, I was watching a tv show] Name: Tsuki "Oni" Minamiro Age: 20 Gender: Female Appearance: At a very slight 5'2", you can say that her bark is worse than her bite... but you'd be wrong, actually. Adopted from the age of ten months to a young japanese couple, her red, almost scarlet hair, tanned skin and green eyes give her a completely different air than her parents and siblings. Tsuki, or "Mina" as she prefers to be called, normally wears a tank with a chest-cut jacket and custom-made khaki slacks. On the job she is also seen to wear diamond or sapphire stud earings, a few bracelets believed to ward off spirits, a striped fedora, and carry an athame given to her by her grandfather. Mina wears her hair long when she can, but has cut it short and dyed it on multiple occasions as it can give her away during a case. Persona: Mina is a very kind and open person, being able to laugh with almost anyone, even enemies. She has a height complex though, being very short, when her height is remarked upon it very much unnerves her. Pair that with her "demonic" temper and self-declared brilliance and you get quite a combination that may and will lead to something exploding. Some believe that she has two seperate personas, and they may be right. At times during a case, she lapses into what's called "divination syndrome" where she completely changes personality, becoming a dark and cynical person who would kill at will and not lose sleep over it. It has been looked into by many doctors and psych experts but a cure has not yet been found. History: At 9 months old she was abandoned, for which reasons are not yet known. She was adopted at 10 months by a young couple, the Minamiros, and grew up alongside her two older siblings (a brother and sister) and later her four younger siblings (three boys and a girl). She worked at a miko shrine for a while, but quit when she took a liking to strong drinks. At the age of 17 she left home and went to look for work, finding herself in a strange office building, and getting hired as a detective. Since then she's been solving any case brought to her, from crimes to mysteries, and sent quite the small fortune back home. Among her co-workers she is known as "Oni Mina" for her uncanny ability to force information from suspects. When she was given this case, she took it immediatly saying "This could very well be the creme de le creme of my courier." Other Details(If any): Her main mode of transport is her motorbike which she put together herself, the little speed junkie. She has also recieved training to pilot/operate helecopters, jets, boats and cranes, though she can't seem to get the hang of an oven or stove. Mina's major phobia happens to be gum, she can watch people chew it, she can look at it, smell it, etc, but she CANNOT chew it for the life of her. She also has a tendancy to change her name, but will still go by the nickname of Mina when around friends. Her common alias' include: Bianca Cilan, Ica Phonon, and Thresa Malkuth. In the underground she's called Shion Luke Ioh, "Shot of Fire & Light" for her habit of setting things on fire including stands, goods and people. In combat, Mina will usually make use of whatever she can find, the most effective weapons being crowbars and the like. Though when prepared she will bring her standard equipment, a hand gun and hand cuffs, but will also take a collapseable rope, a special lighter that feeds off of carbon dioxide, and an iron fan which can be used like a blade. When she switches personas she fights more like an animal, using her nails and teeth, though occasionally resorting to use of her fan.

Abadon was in his apartment, in the doorway of his bedroom making use of the pull-up bar. His daily workout had always been taxing - He found it had to be to keep him in the condition he needed to be in - But of late, without a job, he had been pushing himself far too hard. He let himself drop down to his feet when he heard the doorbell. No-one knows this adress. He towelled himself dry before pulling on his usual white shirt, and rolling up the sleeves, after which the doorbell rang again. Ooh, persistent pest aren't we? He walked over and looked through the peep-hole, a rather un-assuming man in a suit. He took the chain off and opened the door, swinging around to the side in order to avoid the fist that came soaring towards his face. He punched the man in the wrist, causing his opponent to lose his balance and grasp the wall in order to steady himself. He then took the opportunity and kicked out the backs of the man's legs, dropping him to his knees, before punching him to the jaw to knock him down completely. Abadon then took the opportunity to walk cooly over to his desk and retrieve a 45. handgun from one of the drawers, drawing a bead on the man's forehead as he tried to force himself to his feet. The man smirked slightly, but did as he was told. Abadon got him to his feet and had him stand facing the wall, before patting him down and taking his handgun. "Right, nobody knows where I live, first off, how did you find me?" "My boss told me to track you down, let me use all of his contacts, pretty easy with all of those. He told me to check you out - -" Abadon chuckled softly, before interrupting his attacker. "Too bad, tell him I don't swing that way." "Funny... He told me to come and see what you could do, offer you a job." "I'm listening." "You know about BioMech and their race of - -" "Immortals, yes, and their funding of Japan's same project, trying to start a war with no end that would consume the planet and leave BioMech the only people able to save it... For the right price of course." "You're well read, I see." "Pays to keep in the know, now what is this job?" "We've already hired one other, we want to ask you to work with her in order to stop BioMech." "Fine, it'll take a high price though."

It was still dark when the alarm rang. Mina groaned and tossed it against the wall, smashing it to pieces, and pulled back the covers. It had been three days since she'd returned to Japan, where she grew up, and she was currently staying in an apartment in east Okinawa. Waiting for her client to contact her before moving as they had asked was getting tiresome. If they weren't paying her such a pretty penny she would've left long ago and done things her way, but she didn't want to risk going against their favor and having to do the job with a gun at her head. "I'll go along with what you're doing for now," she grumbled at the wall as she got dressed. "But there's no way I'm letting you control me, no matter how much you pay." She was hungry now, so she got on the phone to order pizza, since the apartment was right next door to a 24 hour pizza place. Right as she was placing her order, the phone switched lines, and her oh-so-mysterious client came on. "I have sent someone else to meet you. A partner of sorts, I believe he may prove to be a much needed asset in this case." "Alright. But, where do I meet this 'partner'?" Mina inquired suspiciously. "He will come to you. For the time being, you should get moving, someone has found you it seems." The dial tone came on, which meant she'd been hung up on. "What? No, 'good bye'?" Said Mina melodramatically as she hung up. Just as she began to ponder what the man had meant by that, she heard some windows break on the floor above her. Since her apartment was one floor, she leapt to her duffle bag and armed herself, waiting for whatever was coming. If what her client had said was correct, it was here for her. "Hey!" she yelled to the ceiling, "pizza delivery!" and she leapt up just as the roof caved in.

Abadon had gotten off the plane in Japan, Okinawa, aware he would have to fly back to the US as soon as he met this partner of his. He was not used to working with a partner, though he was sure it would be simple enough, afterall, what was that old saying? 'Many hands make light work.' That is unless she is a complete idiot, in which case he would have to dispose of her. He smiled as he saw his bike loaded off a cargo plane, he never left home without his baby. He got on and started the bike, making his way to the apartment that he had gotten the adress for through various contacts. He sped through the streets, it was only a small village, dirt roads mainly. There was little to no police force in the area, and what there was didn't bother him for his disregard of whatever speed limit there must have been in place there. When he reached the apartment he heard a loud crashing noise - a ceiling caving in possibly? - But decided to wait outside, let it be a test for his future partner. He looked over his shoulder and saw two japenese men in suits, both holding a Glock handgun sprinting towards the front door of the apartment complex. Now I'm sure she doesn't need more trouble. He stepped in their way, driving the palm of each hand into their jaws. As they fell they fired blindly, Abadon rolling out of harms way. He got in their path again, this time grabbing hold of their handguns, pressing in the catch and sliding the chambers off in one fluid movement. He dodged a few swings, before grabbing their ties and wrapping them each around the other's throat, using their ties to strangle them. Once they had passed out, he let them drop, before walking back to his bike.

Just as a body came flying out the window. Mina gasped as she was socked squarely in the stomach and propelled out of the window, landing about 10 feet from the apartment's ground floor. She sat up slowly, moving her hand to her mouth and pulling it away covered in crimson liquid. "Great" she groaned, "right after my spa treatment too." Getting up, she turned at looked at the guy behind her. "Okay...." without warning, something exploded from the rubble of the building and smoke rose as a large shape shook itself free. Mina decided she'd go all out on this one, and dove to the side as rubble was thrown in her direction. Rebounding from the force of the dive, she then redirected herself so she was falling towards the creature, removing her metal fan from her waist and opening it just a fraction of the way before slashing downwards. Mina felt something give way beneath her, but was then tossed to the side, falling to the edge of the rubble and impaling herself on something. She screamed in pain and tried in vain to remove the pipe now skewered through her lower left thigh as the creature advanced slowly. It seemed to shudder as it moved, as if the sight was frightening, and favored its own right side, as its left shoulder had been slashed open. The smoke had cleared enough by this time that its shape was clearly visible. It was, in a way, like a giant ox, with a plated armor back and paws, not to mention the murderous-looking tusks. Vapor rose from its large nostrils as it sniffed the air, turning its head back and forth slowly. At this time Mina was now unconcious from blood-loss, laying on the ground supported only by a large chunk of wall and the pipe in her leg.

Abadon was startled by a woman - who he assumed was his future partner - come soaring through the window. He stood ready, watching as the scene unfolded before him, wincing as he saw the woman fall on a piece of pipe, his eyes widening further when he saw was was going towards her. "They're... Starting to perfect the immortals." He sprinted, not wanting to lose his partner on the first day of the job. Abadon kicked off a car with his right foot, using his left to propel him into an almost wall-run move, hopping off sith surprising ease for any man and throwing a kick into the side of the beast's head. He landed on it's back, catching his balance before stepping on the top of it's head, front flipping and throwing his heel into the thing's jaw mid stream, landing in a crouch, before grabbing the woman he assumed was this 'Mina' he had been told about and making a dash for his bike. He could hear the creature stomping after them, the increasing sound of its hooves telling him it was closing the gap. He looked up and down the unconcious woman in his arms, taking two knives attatched to her leg. "I'll repay you for these later..." He flicked his wrist towards the east, the knives hitting the already slashed open shoulder, causing it to fall hard. He got back on his bike, balancing Mina on his lap as best he could before firing the engine, once again speeding through streets like there was no tomorrow. "Don't die on me... I don't put my neck out for corpses..." He verred to the side as he braked hard, getting himself, Mina and the side int the front lobby of a hospital, yelling for nurses to take her and fix her up.

A couple hours later and Mina was sitting on a hospital bed, with a large cast on her thigh and a blood bag attached to her arm. The pipe had been neatly disposed of she'd heard, crushed then melted down. It had taken a lot of work to reattach all her muscles and nerves without rendering her leg immobile, so they were only able to do a patch job. The doctors guessed she'd never have full mobility of that leg again. The second those words reached her lips, Mina reacted angerly, "I WILL walk again, count on it!" she then went on grumbling for the next ten minutes. "I've gotten over much worse than this," she convinced herself. "I mean one time I got my arm sliced half way through and I can use it fine." But deep down she knew that, an arm, and a leg, were entirely different matters. Mina looked at her desk and saw her belt lying there. Three out of her five knives were sheathed, plus her rope, lighter, fan and handcuffs. She took out her knives and examined them each before picking up her whetstone and sharpening them. Absentmindedly, she looked up, and dropped her dagger and stone. They rolled off the bed and landed with a clatter that awoke the shadowy figure sleeping in the nearby chair. "Who are you?" she asked, holding her fan out like a blade aimed at his throat.

Abadon had dozed off in the most comfortable visitors chair. He hated hospitals, places of death more than healing, especially these days with focus more on weapons than medicine. The doctors had tried to force him out, visiting hours hand ended a while ago, but he refused to budge and even threatened one of the doctors at one point. He was woken up by a bang and a clatter, instnatly pulling his 45. from the waistband of his jeans. The black haired man chuckled when he saw Mina with her blade tipped fan - resembling one he had seen in a videogame when he was youger - angled towards him. "I know what you can do. Normally I'd think twice about getting in a fight with you, but with your injuries it would take me all of three seconds to put you down." He looked to the door, noting the majority of the lights had been switched off. "And since I'm the only one here that isn't a doctor or nurse and that heart of yours is still beating, you should know I'm the one one who saved your ass." He raised his gun in one hand, a sign of peace, before putitng it back in his waistband. "And you know what was coming for you, I didn't have this gun when I got you away from that ox, you know what i can do, put that fan down now and we can talk." His phone rang, digging it from his pocket he looked a tthe caller ID. "Damn.. I've gotta take this, be right back." He stepped off to the side and answerred the phone. "Hey baby... Yeah, I'm on a job... I know, I'm sorry I wasn't able to get there... Yeah, Japan... Alright, well you're my first stop when I collect from this job, deal? Alright,be seeing you." He hung up and turned back to Mina, "Sorry about that... Business, you want to stay here until you're up and running or do you want to come with me back to the states and get started on this thing?"

"The states?" Mina said questioningly. "It's been a long time since I was back there. Why go back though, I thought the source of the problem was here?" She scratched her head in confusion. "I mean I was living in europe before this so, I can speak english pretty well. But really, what's the reason for going back?" Mina stared at him, trying to pry an answer. Unquestionably she was already going. She wanted to see what life this man lead, and besides, their client had said he was an important asset. She couldn't let him slip away so easily.

Methuselah Name: Tyra Redfern. Age: 19. Gender: female Appearance: Her eyes, however, aren't brown. They are a dark, clear blue. Personallity: Tyra doesn't like to be wrong. She tries not to let her quick temper get the better of her, but it doesn't always work. However, she is quite withdrawn a lot of the time and doesn't like talking or physical contact. She takes relish in hard physical activity, as it's a way for her to release energy or anger or any other emotion she doesn't know how to deal with. It's easy for Tyra to come across as blunt, sarcastic and rude, but deep down she's pretty decent. She can be pretty reckless as well. History: When she was fifteen, she found out she was adopted. That changed her, a lot. She went from being a happy, popular teen to a rejected, withdrawn loner in a stunning span of three weeks. She used to work as a mecernary for hire, just barely scraping together enough to live. Other Details(If any): She rides a black, sleek motorbike with gold flames. Her helmet matches her ride, and she breaks the speed-limits whenever possible. She trained as an assassin for two months before abandoning her company and throwing herself into the world.
