Klarissa had barely noticed the Smeargle in front of her until Teva had alerted her. But when she looked up, there was also someone else there. How nice. She stood up and was barely on her feet when yet another person arrived, running into the first, she looked at Teva, and sighed.

We're never going to get anything done.

We could always fly away on Ventral.

No. He's too tired from flying me to Twinleaf from Olivine.

That was a week ago. And it was your own fault you drove him so hard.

I had to get back to my family. I left Sinnoh five years ago and haven't seen 'em since. Anyways, we might want to be polite and introduce ourselves.

Teva just grumbled. Klarissa shook her head and crossed her arms behind her back. She had not been paying attention to ayone but Teva during their conversation, but had managed to catch the guy's name. Mavryk, huh? "M'name's Klarissa. How fare your travels?" She was half hoping to find someone else who shared her luck. If luck could be put to it. She was part of the world's destruction. But how?

Well, if anyone else shares your 'luck', it'd be best to ask them about the Voice. You are spared because of your involvement. Anyone else spared is likely involved too.

"Shut it, Teva." She snapped at her vocally, not realizing it. She glared at the Ninetales, who seemed smug, and just sat, curling her tails around her.

"Nine?"

Quit it with the innocence act, Teva.

"Oh, look who's being nice," Desria muttered, looking away and crossing her arms. After a few moments she mumbled "Desria," sullenly and turned back to look at the boy. "You've got a cool Pokemon though," she conceded, really noticing the smeargle. "That one's rare."

Mavryk turned his head around to look at the girl who had been leaning on a tree. He almost forgot she was there. "Nice to meet you, Klarissa." He said with a nod. "My travels? Okay, I suppose. Nothing interesting, really." Besides that Voice I kept hearing earlier today.

Then Mavryk turned to Desria. Well, hello there, Desria. He thought then looked at Faidhen, who had actually gotten red paint on the tail of the Gliscor. "Fai.." He sighed quietly, but the Smeargle didn't mind him. "Yeah, I was lucky to have found this guy. But he loves painting with his tail.."

Klarissa glanced at Teva, who stuck out her tongue. She gave her a face before turning back to Mavryk, glancing at Desria. "Nothing perilous? No trouble, or anything that everyone seems to be come across? Hm..." She turned to the other girl, her face a calm mask. "And you? How've your travels been?"

Teva, we need to talk to this Mavryk guy... Any way you could manage that?

Unfortunantly, no. Maghnoc's the only one who can, as far as I know.

Could you have a word with his Smeargle? He might help us. After all, it was the Smeargle who led us to him.

Fine. I'll try.

Teva stood and walked over to Faidhen, and prodded him with a paw, quickly explaining the Voice and asking if Mavryk had experienced the same.

Faidhen turned to look at Teva, curiously tilting his head to the side. "Smeargle!" He said after the Ninetales spoke and looked at Mavryk.

"What're you guys talking about?" He asked, but not expecting an answer. Then he noticed that Teva had blue tail tips instead of the orange ones normal Ninetals have. Pretty cool. He thought. "Do you have a name for your Ninetales?" He asked Klarissa.

Klarissa glanced at Teva and nodded in response to Mavryk's question. "Yep. 'Er name's Teva. She was my first captured Pokemon. Always pulled through for me. She's my strongest Pokemon, and never leaves my side. Always giving advice, even if it is pretty horrible." Teva tilted her head, watching Klarissa carefully for a moment, then arched her back, stretching. She curled her tails around her feet as she sat.

Klarissa, you're treading on thin ice. Very nearly exposing yourself.

Risks for information. If he's been talked to by the Voice, then it might not matter if he knows my gift. If he suspects anything at all, he may ask about the Voice indirectly. And then we'll know.

Still a risk.

((-whine- I dun wanna do bios ffor my Pokemon.. ;c

Can I jsut, like...tell you which name goes with which Pokemon and be done with it?

And then list their moves? I'm really sleepy right now and I'll be trying to teach my siblings how to play chess tomorrow. ;c)) 

Mavryk nodded. "I can see she's also not like other Ninetales." He replied, nodding in the direction of her blue tail tips. Then he stayed silent for a moment, thinking. Klarissa had told Teva to shut it not too long ago, but the Ninetales wasn't doing anything. Probably nothing. He tried to make himself believe that, but something was stopping him from doing so.

"What about you, Klarissa?" He asked. "Anything interesting happen on your way here or something like that?" 

Klarissa shook her head. "Not really. Suprises me, too, considering all of the bad luck nowadays." She galnced at Teva to see her staring hard at Mavryk, as if trying to communicate with him even though she couldn't.

Teva, stop that and come here.

Teva glanced at her, and then relaxed, padding over to Klarissa's side, nuzzling her cheek against her thigh. Klarissa glanced at her, and Teva met her eyes.

You sure are fishier than a Magikarp.

Oh, am I? You've slipped up a few times yourself.

Still, I'm not being all cheesy and 'innocent.'

Teva ignored her and laid at her feet. At the same time, there was a flash of light and behind Klarissa, a large Tropius appeared. He stomped about a bit, obviously in a foul mood, and stred hard at Klarissa, who'd turned to face him.

Mistress...Why have I been cooped up?

Ventral, you're fine. You were tired, and you know it.

Hm...

She laid a hand on his head and he nodded, turning to lay by the tree Klariss ahad sa at just moments before. The girl turned back to Mavryk. "Sorry about that. Ventral's just a big bully. He deserved his rest, but I guess he's not tired anymore."

Mavryk felt someone or something stare at him, and when he turned his head to look at Faidhen he saw Teva pad over to Klarissa's side. Almost right after Faidhen ran over to his side and reached out to tap one of the pokeballs hanging on the side of his belt. "Faidhen, what're you doing?" Mavryk asked, taking a step back but it was useless. A white beam came out from one of the pokeballs and then not long after a Houndoom that looked quite annoyed to be out stood beside Faidhen.

Romus looked around with a puzzled face and then, when he saw the friendly smile on Faidhen's face, growled. He said something that humans couldn't understand, then Mavryk rolled his eyes. "Sorry about that," he sighed. 

Desria stood away from the others as they had their strange conversation, not really sure if she wanted to join in or run away from the strange trainers. Unfortunately for her she was a bit of a bleeding heart when it came to Willow and couldn't bear to pull her away from the smeargle, who had just let out a houndoom. Curious, Willow fluttered away from the smeargle, Faidhen, and landed beside the smaller Pokemon. "Gli, gliscore," she chirped happily.

Now it was just her luck that Willow had three Pokemon to socialize with. Grumbling under her breath Desria walked over to her Pokemon and put her arm around the gliscore's purple shoulders. 

((I'll...just do the same thing. xD;;

So...how should Talan come in? Playing his flute...? ouo;;)) 

Mavryk watched as his Houndoom looked at the Gilscore. He thought Romus looked slightly surprised when he saw the Gliscore, but he probably imagined it for after a second for the Houndoom's annoyed face appeared. 

Romus then said something which Mavryk thought would've translated to "who are you" or something like that.
