((well since we have enough people we can start YAY and then people can join in on the way :D)) Kimio rolled on the ground as the spring breeze blew through the long gr@ss. He loved being out in the sun whenever he could. But the thought that he had still not found his mother bothered him. He had to find them soon. If he couldn't find them, then his life would be in danger of the bigger larger males that roamed the area. He hadn't seen any so far but that did not tell if he was safe later on. He sighed as he rested his head on his paws. In his left eye he saw many things like long sun-dried gr@ss, the sand that was under his paws; his right eye: nothing but darkness.

Raksa pounced on a gras.shopper out of boredom. She let the insect free, only to pounce again as it tried to hop away. After a few catches and releases, she let the bug free and yawned. Laying down in the warm gras.s to cool down. She watched over the savanah with a sleepy ex

Kimio's mouth soon became dry enough to make him heave himself up and walk towards the nearby pond that he had found not long ago. He had been staying near it ever since he got seperated from his mother. They had normally went there for a drink or maybe to find prey but now he just hoped to maybe find his mother there looking for him. He bent down and lapped up the cool water.

"Help." Dusk called, staring blindly at the field around her. she thought she was hopelessly lst, but truthfully, she was only feet away from Kimio, her friend. She sat down and whimpered softly, "Anyone?" she heard a rustly in the gr*censored* and pounced... In the wrong direction...

Kimio laughed at her "i'm right over here" he said as he licked his paw and drew it over his ear as he watched her. "what are you doing?"he asked smiling and watching her pounce into the gr@ss.

Dusk stopped and twisted her head to 'see' where the sound had come from. "Kimio, I thought I was lost." she said, her fur growing hot with embarresment as blood flushed to the sides of her maw. She licked him and then wrapped her black and blue tail around her tiny body and promptly fell over. "I hate being blind." She grumbled miserably..

Kimio gave a bit of a laugh "i dont mind it so much, it makes me feel different from other lions.Like you are fully blind, im half blind so were different too" he said as he patted a butterfly that had just landed infront of him. ((did i say that anyone can be the pride leader? o_O? well if not there ya go hehe ^u^))

Kimio rolled on his back as his paws batted the butterfly in the air "but thats why you have ears and paws and a nose. Thats so that you can see where your going but just not with your eyes" he fisnished as he sat up and licked his paw.

Kimio smiled and bent down closing his eyes "first only concentrate on one thing like if your hunting concentrate on what sound the ground makes when the animal walks or moves. When it gets close enough you can hear it's breathing and when you do.." His voice trailed off as he pounced into the long gr@ss and then poking his head out.

Raze yawned as he woek to the blinding savannah sunshine and the sound of to rather familiar voices. Opening one eye, he spotted them both. With another yawn, Raze rose to his feet and stretched. The rock that he had been snozzing on used to be pleasantly warm, but its sun-heated warmth was long gone. slipping off of it, he approached the two cubs, but stayed a little ways away. Bending down to drink he kept a careful eye on the two. As one of the older of the pride's young, it was Raze's responisibility to keep the future pride leader safe.

Kimio's ear twitched as he heard the soft lapping of water a few paces away he twitched his tail in greeting before turning back to Dusk to tell her more about using her senses to help for blindness.
