((okay well Kimio is talking with Dusk by a pool of water in the gr@sslands and Raze just showed up to the pool of water and is keeping an eye on them since they are cubs and since Dusk is going to be the pride leader next ^u^))

Kimio laughed at her "yeah it gets easier as you get used to it, now for smell, first you gotta' concentrate on the smells and scents around you, like the smell of the gr@ss and soil. Or maybe the scent of fresh prey" he said as he closed his eyes and lifted his nose into the air to get a good wiff of the air.

Raze's head came up sharply a he heard a rustling. His eyes scanned the tall gras.s, searching for any sign of movement. When nothing happened, his ear twitched irritably. Now uneasy, he settled down on his haunches and stared at the savannah.

Raksa twithced her ears to flick away some flies. she spotted Raze a short distance away and rose to her feet. She sat down next to the other young lion and dipped her head in greeting.

Raksa nodded, "but that could have just as easily been you or me. He is destined to be our leader by the stars, but he is just a regular lion, for now anyway. I think its just because he will be well expierienced, he's experiencing a lot really early, I mean, hes not aven a full year old and hes already lost his mother..." her voice trailed off and she shook her head.

Raze harshly shouldered Raksa, his brow lowered angrily. "You know you're not supposed to talk about that while he's around, keep your voice down..." He glanced at the cub in question and sighed in relief, realizing that he hadn't heard anything. His gaze lowered to his left paw, where his silver-gray fur was marred by a thin pink scar. With a pang of painin his chest, Raze remembered how he had felt when he realized his own mother was no longer in this world.

Raksa snorted, "how long are we going to keep lying to him? Its not right, to just avoid his questions about his own mother. We all know shes gone, so why should we let Kimio sit and think shes coming back?" she asked, her voice low and quiet.
