Arkantos nuzzled his daughter affectionately, asking,

"How has your day been, Dusk? You seem to be having fun."

Raze followed Dusk, refusing to let the yougn cub out of his sight. He bowed respectfully on approach of the pride leader. Luckily, Raze's father wasn't around so he wsa able to relax.

Kimio laughed and tackled her off of Racun and laughed when he was tackled back by Racun "Hey! i got her off why are you tackleing me?" he said in between laughs as he pushed him off.

"Every lion for himself in this game!" Racun said as he went and batted Dusk on the ears.

Racun batted her over the head before getting tackled by Kimio. Kimio pulled on his ear with a playfull grr.

Racun growled and rolled over making Kimio let go of his ear before he turned and grabbed Dusk's tail in his jaws as he again got landed on by Kimio.

Racun still held on and batted her on the head with a paw and laughed as she kicked Kimio in the gut.

Kimio grunted and fell back but quickly jumped to his feat and jumped into the play battle again. He put both of his forepaws on Dusk's head and pushed it down as he jumped over her and landed on Racun.

(sorry for lateness, my internet was rebelling yesterday.... It doesn't seem I have much to post anyways... hey, i've thouhgt of something X3)

Arkantos watched his cub play with the others for a little while before he was interrrupted by a panicking lioness. It was one of the females he had put in the hunting party. She whispered something hurriedly into his ear and his eyes went wide. He nodded at her and she dashed off. With a roar that demanded the attention of all present, he said,

"Prepare to leave the area at once, we are moving east!"

Raze looked up at the pride leader's command, somewhat confused. Why were they moving. He saw his father approach Arkantos and ask him something, the silver lion's ex
pression then turned even paler. As the pride leader moved away, Raze ran up to is father and asked,

"What's going on?" the reply consisted of a single word: "Fire."

Raze dashed toward where the cubs were, demanding, "Where's Dusk? We have to hurry!" His heart pounded furiously in his chest, fear making him tremble. He remembered that his mother had died in a fire just like this one.
