Raze heard the cry and raised his head. He caught sight of the fire and his heart stopped dead; Dusk was trapped, as were the two other cubs. he ran towards them, searching desperately for a break. There was none. He glanced down the side of the cliff. Far below was a ribbon of water. With panic threatening to overwhelm his senses, Raze cried out,

"Dusk! Can you hear me?" The roar of the flames was deafening, he could only hope the cub's acute hearing would prevail. "You, Kimio and Raccun have to jump! It's the only way!"

Raze shook his head and yelled,

"No! There's a river at the bottom, I can see it! You just have to trust me, if not, trust your heart and your lion's instinct! Please, dusk, there's not much time!"

The fire began closing in on Raze as well, driving him closer and closer to the edge. he was going to follow the cubs down either way, but he didn't want to jump before they did.

(she hit ground? O.o and how does everything go black if she's blind? ;P )

With a grunt, he dove off the side of the cliff after Dusk. The fear of the fire severely outweighed his secret fear of heights though once he was clear of the flames, his pulse began to race anew due to this same fear.

Dusk rubbed her swollen head and felt around for something anything. She tumbled into some water and then clambered out, soaked. The ywere trapped, the fire was gone, but now where could they go...

Raze crashed into the water, gasping as he resurfaced. He spotted Dusk on the bank and swam over to her, climbing out and saying,

"See? That wasn't so bad." he moved next to her, protectively, as he looked around for Kimio and Racun. Where were they? Had they jumped?

Racun was about to jump when he heard a surprised growl from Kimio as fire seperated them. He quickly began to claw at the ground making the dirt fly onto the fire making it low enough to where Kimio could jump over. Kimio quickly leaped over and looked down the cliff and froze at the long way down. He was about to reconsider the idea but was grabbed by the scruff by Racun as he was pushed off.

They landed with a splash and the impact of the landing had knocked Kimio out. Racun scrambled as he dragged his heavy weight to the s*censored*. He scrambled up and began to catch his breath while shoving Kimio to wake up.

Raze pulled both of the cubs further away from the water's edge, his panic finally starting to settle in as he began shaking. Hopefully it looked like he was shivering from the cold water... hopefully. He looked at Racun and said,

"Is he okay? Are you okay?"

Racun shook himself "i'm fine. Kimio's just p*censored*ed out from the impact..c'mon we need to catch up with the others" He said before taking Kimio's scruff in his mouth and beginning to drag him towards the end of the territory.

"Just follow our scent" Racun said with a muffled voice through Kimio's fur. He continued to drag him until Kimio started to cough and wake up. He dropped him and went over to his side. "You okay?" he asked as Kimio stood up and shook his damp fur. 

"yeah..thanks" he said as he looked around and began to follow next to Racun.
