He smiled. "Well, I'm glad you have room to let me come with you.." He looked up at the sky and noticed some clouds rolling in. He bit his lip. "Umm are we going to be walking outside for a while? I really don't want to get wet by the rain. He looked at her. I can't let the make up come off... She'd be scared for me... Maybe even leave me.. He looked at her and smiled slightly. "Anyways, let's go..."

Jake sighed. "Might as well show you why.." He took off his shirt and wiped his face. He revealed a cut across his forehead, a bruise on his cheek, and another near his left eye. "I'm not weird, but I wear makeup so that people don't worry about me.. Even though many don't already.. But I don't need sympathy from any one... I wear make-up to hide these ugly things." He put his shirt back on.

Jake looked at her and smiled slightly. "Alright.. But it isn't like me to not pay for icecream.. Especially when a girl is with me.." He ran after her. He finally met someone who didn't look at him and pitty him like the others, who would go to his house and confront his father. He met her and she didn't run from him because of fear. "Sunni, why didn't you run from me? Everyone else does."

"Let's get some icecream..." He took her wrist in his hand and walked toward the ice cream parlor. He knew it would be somewhat near his house.

Sunni smiled "you look okay it just looks like you got in a fight..."She looked foward to the icecream parlor.She wondered why he had the bruises it worried her a little she didnt want the boy to get hurt.SHe thought of a way to find out why had those bruises but she would ask later now just wasnt the time.As jake grabbed her wrist she pulled away sunni didnt like to be dragged along.

Jake looked at het. "Sorry, Sorry.. My brother likes to drag me along. I didn't mean to do that.." He looked at Sunni and opened teh icecream parlor door. He looked at the person behind the galss and smiled. "Chiley, your working today! How about setting me up." He smiled cutely. Chiley looked up. "Ahh, Jakey... And like i said before, call me Chaarlette. That's my name." She looked at Jake. "Oh dear... did you want make-up again?" She served Jake a triple scoop of vanila, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream, topped with whipped cream and hot fudge, She toppe dit with a huge cherry. "Are you going to share with him miss? Or do you want something else? ~~~~ Mallick smiled. "GOod to hear it." He looke dat her and smiled. "I saw you staring at me.. I mean, it's not very secretive when your staring right over to us." He put his hand on her head. "THough, i found it cute." He winked. |

Chiley scooped up a generous helping of a "single" scoop and handed it to Sunni. "There you go you little cutie. How do you stay so curvy and thin? Gosh.. I want your DNA." She said jokingly. "Anyways, Jakey, I told you to come to my house when he does that to you.." Jake looked at Chiley and shushed her. "I know I know.. But what choice do I really have?" He handed the scoop of ice cream to Sunni and sat down in a booth. He ate some of his ice cream. "Sunni, sorry you had to hear that.. She's an old friend of mine.. She set me up with huge ice creams.. I pay the normal price though." He smiled. |

Sunni narrowed her eyes at the girls comment sensing venom in it.She bit her lip and felt a little pinch o f pain from it.Then slowly listened to there converstation gathering information.She bit her lip and looked back and forth as they talked figuring what the bruises where from.She felt a little shock from it but there nothing that she could really do for the boy though it did scare her slightly.She sat down and looked up to him searching his eyes she gave a weak fake smile "its okay"SHe looked down at her ice cream. It seemed as though he had said it so often, in reality, his insides were about to explode with embaras.sment. "ANyways, I know you don't... We just met a while ago, even though I have seen you around school. The name's Jake and i like playing video games, eating ice cream.. and secretly, not even Chiley knows this, but i like anything fluffy. I never had a stuffed animal.
