Sunni slowly opened her eyes and looked away from the blinding sun.She lightly touched her face it was hot and it stung,”ugh im sunburned”Sunni muttered under her breathe.The sun was somewhat low in the sky but it was still bright and hot out,figuring it was probably about four o’clock.She slowly slipped out of the sleeping bag and looked to jake.His bruises and cuts were so much worse in daylight,it made her cringe and hurt at the thought of him in pain.Sunni gulped and lightly nudged him “jake….heh…jake”she whispered in his ear. Jake opened his eyes and yawned. His cuts stung and he forgot he wasn't wearing a shirt. He quickly sat up and grabbed his shirt. "Oh damn.. Sorry you had to see those.." He pulled his shirt on again and looked at Sunni. "I'm sorry, but my dad has this thing about beating me for something I didn't even do." He sighed and stood up. "I'm sorry about last night.. I understand if you just felt sorry for me and yeah.. I'll go home now..." He walked to the edge of the roof and grabbed hold of the drain. He looked for a ledge to place his foot on. He looked at Sunni and waed. "I'm going to shower... IF you come to my house. Kyin will answer... Tell him to take you to my room" Jake's cuts bled and he quickly slid down the drain. "I love you Sunni!!" He began to walked down the street to his house. (lolz. Its fine. ^^) |

Sunni gulped “its okay”her eyes looked wary she really wanted to say that it killed her inside to see the boy she loved hurt but restrained. “that’s not true..I love you! And hey my life is messed up too I don’t care about that".Sunni slid down the pipe and ran after him til she caught him and grabbed his shoulder “wait! One more thing”She got close to him and wrapped her arms around him and lightly pressed her lips against his.Then pulled away her eyes glowing in the golden sun and her nose and cheeks red as a lobster “uh hey will you meet me at the pond..say sunset? I mean you don’t have to or anything but I mean you know ill uh come to yer house like in two hours we can go?”Sunni looked at him wondering what she would do for the next two hours.Then it hit her that she was gonna make herself the prettiest she could be.

Jake blushed and looked at her. He smiled. "Sure, just tell Kyin to send you up to my room. Or you and him can hang in the front yard until I come down." He kissed her lips and turned. He walked toward his house and looked over his shoulder. He smiled and waved a peace sign. "See you later, babe." He truned his head back and walked to his house. He turned a corner and opened the small gate around his house. When he stepped it, he was met with a slap to the face. "Ow.." He looked at his father. He backed away slightly but then stoo d straight and looked his father coldly in the eye. "Don't mess with me anymore.. I know I'm stronger than you.." He pushed his father aside slightly and walked into the house. He closed the door and walked up. He walked in his room and grabbed some new clothes and a a nice soft towel. "Hopefully this doesn't sting my cuts.." He walked in the bathroom and turned the water on. He undressed quickly and got in the water. His cuts stinging, but he put up with it. He began to bathe his body and scrub his hair.

Sunni smiled and turned heading towards home. When she walked in the door her grandmother was a sleep on the couch holding the toilet brush. Sunni completely forgot about her grandmother! But oddly it didn’t bother her it was like it didn’t matter anymore she met someone with a soul, someone who was live inside unlike her disable lost grandmother. Sunni sighed and head up stairs, she got to the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror touching her teal hair “maybe its time fer a change” Sunni laughed and got under the cabinet where she got black hair dye. She applied it and stared at herself in the mirror the whole time thinking about what she had just done. When it was ready she jumped in the shower and washed and rinsed her hair then her body. After she got out she blow dried her now jet black hair and straightened it, then teasing it slightly, Sunni gulped “what did I do! Ugh!” but decided it didn’t really matter. She covered her face with make up covering her sun burns, then outlined her huge golden eyes with purple eyeliner. She went to her room and grabbed a neon green mini dress and left to go to Jake’s house barefoot as always. Sunni walked up the path and knocked on the door waiting for someone to answer, she still felt a little weird about confronting Kyin as he saw her make out with his brother but tried to gulp it down.

(lolz. Yes, he is. And it's sexy. ^^) Jake heard the bell but didn't want to step out. He sighed. "Riku!!! Get the damn door!!!" He rinsed off and got out. He wrapped the towel around his waist, covering him up. He shouted out the door. "Riku!!! Get your lazy butt out of your room and answer the door!!' He slammed he batherroom door and dried himself off. ~~~ Riku growled an dstood up from his computer. He walked down the stairs and tied up his longish black hair. The ribbon stood out, pink in color from being washed. He washed his hands quickly, they were filthy with oil and glue. He opened the door and looked at the beautiful young girl standing before him. "Um.. Hello? Sunni, is that you? Wasn't your hair teal the last time I met you?" He bent down slightly and was eyes-level with her. "You are sunni. Those huge golden eyes stayed with me.. Anyways." He said standing straight. "Why are you here? My father and mother aren't here if you wanted them to punish Jake or Kyin for something.." He stepped aside and put his hand up, motioning her in. "Please come in anyways."

((considering you say the character is based of yer cousin i dont really know what to say...)) Sunni smiled “haha yea its me and it really wasn’t a good idea but my hair is black now”She looked to the side out to the still blood covered fountain and gulped quickly looking back to him. “uh,no im here cuz uh me and Jake are going to the pond..I don’t know if im too early but uh yea”She slowly walked in and looked around the house which seemed normal enough,not that it really mattered.Sunni stood there awkwardly half way in the house she didn’t want to be rude and just jump inside and make herself comfortable.She turned to Riku and smiled “uh do you know if jake’s ready er not?” |

(jake is based off nobody... The twins are) Riku looked at her and shook his head. "Nah, i highly doubt he is going to be done anytime soon. He really likes to stay in the shower because his wounds heal quicker when he is in teh water." He yawned and stood up. He walked to the kitchen and boiled water. He made Jasmine tea and poursed it into two cups. He placed the cups on a tray, along with sugar cubes. "Jake eats a lot of these.. That... ugh.." He grabbed the tray and walked back into the living room. He placed the tray on the coffee table. "Are you and Jake.. Um.. Dating?" He sat on the couch and patted the cushion next to him. "Please sit." ~~~ Jake dried himself off and slipped on his boxers then his black pants with gold on the edges.he slipped on a white tanktop and reached for his shirt. H enoticed it was pink. "Freakin' Kyin.." He growled and slipped the shirt on anyways. He looked in teh mirror and took out his mother's make up. He covered the wounds on his body and face with a tannish color. Surprisingly, he managed to cover all his wounds and the make-up matched his skin tone. He brushed his hair then shook it up. He walked out and down the stairs. "Who was at the door, Riku?" He walked into the living room as he wrapped red bandage wrapping around his wrists. "Your girlfriend.. Sunni..." Riku looked at Jake. "Catch." Riku tossed a sugar cube at Jake. Jake caught it with his mouth and finished wrapping his wrists. He ate the cube. "Suni!!"

Sunni nervously laughed and looked down to her feet “yea I mean were together,so…I geuss you could call it that”She looked up to Riku as if searching for approval from him.SHe slowly grabbed a cup of tea but wasnt sure if it was for her or not,she sipped it slowly without any sugar.Sunni gulped and touched her hair as she always did when she felt akward plus seeing it black almost startled her as she sorta forgot.Sunni stood up almost startled when jake said her name,she walked in the kitchen and faced him “yea? Oh by the way I dyed my hair not like it matters but..”Sunni looked at him up and down noticing his barely pink shirt.”leave a red sock in the whites?”She smiled and laughed a little.Then noticed his now flawless skin and mysterious bandages on his wrist and looked almost worried “you know you don’t have to cover up around me….”Then thought again about the bandages did jake hurt himself? it raced through her.

Jake looked at her and laughed. "I know, but I don't want people to see me with cuts a bruises. It's not pretty, considering what happened yesterday with my dad... I"m going to get it when I get home.." He sighed and looked at her. "I didn't hurt myself. I always wrap some color of bandage aroudn my wrists. It prevents me from trying anything stupid." He looked at her. "Why did you dye your hair? I liked it teal.. Anyways, let's go. Riku, i won't be home for a while. Make sure Kyin gets the laundry right this time. He dyed my white shirt pink... He probably put his red sleeves in the laundry. He looked at Sunni. "ready?" He walekd outside and looked at the fountain, then many of the people who were starring at the blood. "Go away!" Many left and he grabbed teh hose. He sprayed the blood away.

Sunni looked at him her face as if she had a bad taste in her mouth.She held the tips of her now black,sleek and looked at it,and she knew it was wrong to be so upset over what she said about her hair,but it still hurt.Werent boyfriends supposed to say you look good no matter what?Sunni gulped and grit her teeth “m’yea I might dye it purple er indigo later”Her voice was calm and emotionless trying to contain herself.She followed him out the door,jake seemed so much sweeter last night.Sunni watched his anger at the other people looking at the blood on the fountian “its okay honey,they were probably just worried’her words were sweet as sugar but her tone was half done.yea sunni’s reaction was probably overdone but she was a teenage girl wasn’t she?

Jake turned to look at her. “I’m sorry. I’m just stressing out today. I’m not used to wearing make-up yet and it itches. If I scratch, I’ll open the wound. I have a huge hand-shaped bruise on my cheek now because I bruise easily and I don’t want it to show. I’m nervous because my dad is going to beat the crap out of me for not coming home last night. He is scary…” He sighed and looked at his hand. “Now I have to deal with my brothers teasing me about having a girlfriend because I’m too bruised and cut to have one. It’s really stressing me out and I hate it when people stare at our house because they hear me yell or they see blood on the roses and other stuff.” He sunk to his knees and looked down. “You shouldn’t be with me... I’m nothing but trouble covered with bruises and cuts… I’m not I haven’t even had a girlfriend since I was 12 because of the constant beatings.” |

Sunni touched his face, rubbing the thick make up off his cheek showing his cuts ands bruises. She sighed flipping the black hair out of her eyes that now made them seem to glow against her inky locks.” look I don’t care if is shouldn’t be with you, I love you and it doesn’t matter if I get hurt because of that or what people say”She grabbed his hand and came closer to him.” ya cant blame yer father for ever thing in yer life you are you,its not yer father that defines you” Sunni gulped” but….if you don’t wanna be with me I understand”even though her heart stung with those words like a puppy being left on the side of the road of course she wouldn’t understand.She looked up to him her eyes gl*censored*y with the coming of tears and worry,so desperately she wanted to have someone hold her in her arms,for someone for once to be with Sunni her whole life she had been alone but even she knew like so many things that would never happen.

Jake looked at Sunni and wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug. He put his head on her shoulder and let tears roll off his make-up thick cheeks. His tears were coming down the same color as his skin. The make-up haing small lines going through it. He turned his head and let his forhead rest on her shoulder. He let the tears fall onto his lap. He wiped his deep red eyes and smeared the make-up on his face. He took off his shirt and wiped his face clean on make-up. He looked at Sunni. "Why would I not want to be with you? Your so nice and sweet. Although, i would have like it if you kept your natural hair color.. It looked pretty... Not that the black doesn't look pretty... But its pretty common.." He hugged her. "Just, let it grow back.. teal... never change it." He held a lock of her black hair in his hand. He looked at it and smiled. "It's really glossy... It's silky smooth too." He stood up and carried her in his arm. He walked back into his house. He put her on the couch. "Kyin!! Shirt! Now!" He tossed his pink shirt into the laundry. He caught a dark blue shirt Kyin threw down. "You want to go now?" He wiped his eyes.

Sunni’s heart raced as he held her,she laughed “actually black is my natural hair color..but ill dye it teal just for you,maybe like sea foam color”She looked at him and smiled “you don’t need make-up yer hot will all the battle scars,ha don’t be fake I love you as you all imperfections included”Sunni looked up at him as she set her down on the couch seeing him shirtless in broad day light she never really saw him completely before.She saw his bruises and cuts it made her hurt,she didn’t want jake hurt.She just loved him too much.Though she did smile at his muscle and perfect body so oppisite of her chunky self.Sunni ddint know what he saw in her but she didn’t question it though it wasn’t his perfect body and cute face that made her love him,it was his soul it was the jake inside not the one on the outter.Sunni shook her head out of thought and looked to jake hoping he wouldn’t notice her checking him out before “yea lets go!”

Jake smiled and quickly carried her. In teh same quick motions he stepped out of the house. He closed the door and set her down. "You know.. I'm very observative and I knew you were checking me out. I was trying to keep my shirt off long enough to have you get your fill." He smiled and kissed her cheek. He held her hand and walked out of the white gate. He smiled and walked toward the pond. "You know, teh pond is actually very relaxing.. I used to sleep by there when I ran away from my parents.." He sighed. "Hey, Sunni, this might ofend you because I usually don't ask questions, but why? Why do you like me so much? I hae ugly scars and scratched.. I'm a beat kid and very abused.."

Sunni’s usally colorless face became red with embarr*censored*ment looked down and gulped “heh,well…”Her eyes finally wandered back to his as mart of the embarr*censored*ment had washed away. She held his hand and walked with him out the door “cuz I just do it doesn’t matter to me yer so sweet and I just love you okay? Heh,anyways I should be asking you the same question, with me being fat and all yer so perfect and im...not”Sunni looked to him her eyes searching to see his answer before words spoke them but couldn’t quite find it,maybe she wasn’t as good about reading people as she had thought.She listened to his story of him sleeping by the pond it mad her hurt slightly.She saw the pond out over yonder its deep blue sprakiling in the golden light.
