Severus wrapped his free arm around her waist, hugging her against him.

"Are you ready?"

"If we get separated, we'll meet at Dylan's Candy Bar." Damon called, before first him and Stefan Disapparated.

"Take a deep breath." He told her, before disappearing with a 'pop'.

Melanie did as she was told, and squeezed her eyes shut, holding onto Severus's hand tightly.

Severus gasped, feeling the ground beneath him. He shook his head, swaying on his feet.

"Jesus." He muttered, looking around. "Looks like I got it right. Come on, love." He instructed, tugging her up a flight of stairs.

Severus looked around, smirking.

"Yup, Starbucks."

Damon swayed, holding his head. "I am so not used to this." He groaned as Stefan popped up behind him. "Come on, it's not far now." He urged, disappearing with the same breath. Damon rolled his eyes, following suit. When he felt the ground behind him, he knew he was in Dylan's Candy Bar. Damon looked around, yawning.

"We're in the staff room. C'mon, before we get caught." 

"Starbucks?" Melanie asked. "This is a Coffee place, right?" She looked around.

"Yeah. Had to pick somewhere to appear in." Severus replied, stepping into the sunlight, He looked up, glaring at the Sun.

"Come on, they're most likely at that Candy Bar, anyway."

Damon smirked, looking at all of the candy. "Ah, muggles. Gotta love them." He said, picking up a pack of nerds.

Severus rolled his eyes.

"Let's go.. Last time I was in New York, I was surrounded by people who wanted my autograph. Looks like a wizard let it slip, some of the details of the wizard war, and she messed it up, killed a few people, and wrote it down. They're now best sellers, those books. Kinda messed up, though. She killed Sirius, Dumbledore, and Remus. In that order. Oh, and she killed me, too." 

"Oh yeah. Heard of those series. Harry's the hero, ain't he?" Melanie said. "Of course, they leave me out of the entire series. I've done more then Harry'll ever do."

"Yeah, he is. Got some of the details right, though. I was a Death Eater." Severus replied, walking with his head tilted downward. It didn't work.

"HE LOOKS LIKE SNAPE!" A girl squealed.

"Sh!te." 

"Shut up, or I swear to God, I'll tell them you're last name is Potter." Severus growled, glaring at the people that now swarmed him.

"What's your name?" One asked, jumping up and down.

"Severus Snape." He replied, signing the piece of paper she held out. "Now, move, or I'll show you that books don't always lie."

Severus shook his head, grabbing her hand and pulling her through the crowd.

"That'll be on the damn news later." He told her, turning a corner and walking into Dylan's Candy Bar.

"Eh, Muggles don't know how to do things correctly."

Melanie ignored him, looking around like she had just stumbled into heaven. "Look at all of the...NERDS!" She shrieked, running over to grab the box of little candies.

"Nerds?" Severus asked, looking at the little pieces of candy skeptically. "Who the hell is Willy Wonka?" He muttered, looking at the candy bars.

"Ah, finally, you're here." Damon exclaimed, trotting up the stairs from the bottom level.

"Well, let's try them, then." Severus shrugged.

"Okay," Melanie said, digging into her pocket and finding an American Five-dollar bill. She walked up to the cashier and slapped the money and box down, who gave her change. Melanie ripped open the box, not bothing to follow the instructions on the tabs or whatever, and dumped a handful of pink and purple nerds into her hand.

"Why'd you pay for it?" Damon asked, holding his hand out to the lady, who grudgingly gave him the money back.

Severus scooped up a few of the nerd, popping them into his mouth. "What the.. These tastes like Fizzing Whizzbies. Without the fizz."
