He muttered, a ripple through the air the only sign something had happened. Bob stopped, making a choking noise. He stopped, wide-eyed, as he made a muffled sound, unable to open his mouth. Melanie glared at Severus and took his cigarette, crushing it on an ice cube from Silvie's drink. "Smoking's bad for you, and it makes people bad kissers."
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip.
