Melanie narrowed her eyes at Damon, then nodded. "Okay. I'll kick your a.ss."

"There's a catch." Severus said, seeing the glint in Damon's eye.

"Yes, their is. Audeo poker. Or Truth or Dare poker. Who ever wins a round gets to ask someone a question, or dare them to do something, and they have to do it the whole round. We'll be pumped full of Veritaserum, so no lying." He grinned.

"You're on." Severus smirked. He waved his hand, the room expanding and a large dark wooden table. He dug around in his drawer, producing playing cards. 

"Damon, we know that you and me both can beat the Veritaserum, so how about we just make it Dare poker?" He proposed, fishing out a bottle of Firewhiskey and four cups.

"Alright." 

Severus sat with his back to the door, Damon sitting to his left, and Stefan across from him.

"Damon, you deal." He said, pa.ssing him the cards. "These cards are spell-proof." 

Melanie sat down to Severus's right, looking at each of them.

"I am so gonna win this."

"Highly doubtful." Damon laughed. He dished out the cards, holding his own.

"Now, we play." 

Melanie checked her cards. Hm, A good hand. Maybe not the best, but it might be enough to win. "Call."

((Pfft. Hope I'm doing this right. I usually just watch my dad play Poker. C;))

Severus dug in his pocket, pulling out a Galleon, and his cigarettes. He lit one, pushing it between his lips before saying, "Bet."

Damon smirked, pulling a poker face. "Raise." He said, throwing two Galleons in the middle of the table. Stefan looked at his cards, resisting the urge to groan. Damn, his hand sucked.

"Fold." He said, showing his cards.

"Damn, bro, not even a pair..." Damon tsked. 

Severus raised an eyebrow, looking pa.ssive. "Raise." He said, adding three Galleons. Damon looked between them, sighing loudly.

"Call." Yes, he was a good actor. 

Damon grinned, showing his hand. One pair. 

"I'm a good bluffer." He shrugged. Severus smirked, showing his own hand. 

"Full house." He said, taking the Galleons and piling them next to him. "Now, who to dare, who to dare..." He grinned.

"Stefan, go kiss Damon."

Stefan looked dumbstruck. "He's my brother." He said, disgusted. "Doesn't matter, a dare's a dare." 

"Ew," Melanie said herself, though she had to admit it would be funny if they went through with it.

Damon rolled his eyes. Big deal, he'd done worse. Stefan leaned across, pressing his lips to his brothers. After a minute or so, he pulled away, rubbing his lips furiously.

"What ever happens in this room stays here." Severus advised, dealing out the cards. He threw one Galleon down, starting the new round. 

"...I will never be able to unsee that," Melanie said, shaking her head as thought to wipe out the image. She picked up her cards. "Ugh! Fold," She said, showing her cards.

"Already?" Damon chuckled. "You really don't know how to play, do you?"

Severus sighed, looking over at her. "It's unfair to let her play, then." 

"I'd bluff." Damon replied. Severus nodded, biting his lip to keep from smiling. "He's right."
