Melanie noticed a flicker of light from someone's wand, and turned to face it full-on.

"Severus." 

Severus didn't stop backing up until he felt his legs give way and sat on the bed. He twined his arms around Melanie's waist, pulling her body impossibly closer.

((Hm, I've been thinking of doing a Remus Lupin story... I've seen all the SS ones out there, not many Lupin.))

Melanie didn't want to; but she had to. She was running out of breath and broke the kiss for air.

"I'll take that as an 'I'm sorry.'" 

((sorry I've been struggling with time management...  had to read 70 pages of the Odyssey in one night... let me tell you, I rather been on here then reading for 4 hours straight...

Draco finally pulled away,  lifting her chin so she met his eyes.  "Silvie.  You have to tell me." he stated, his eyes pleading but his voice expressionless. 

Silvie swallowed, cutting the gaze so they drifted to the fireplace... the embers cracked freely.  "Draco...I can't." she whispered softly, the words stinging her tounge as she spoke.

Draco pulled her face back to him..."Why." he stated more aggressively, not as a question but as an angry statement.

Silvie held his hand on her cheek..."Because I can't." she had to force the words and even then they were in a quiet whisper once more.

Draco tried to pull his hand away but felt Silvie tighten her grip.  He knew that the knowing that she couldnt tell him...was tearing her apart.  He let out a quiet sigh.  "I'm sorry." he whispered... moving his head so that he was a few inches from her face, he pressed his forehead against hers as the two did when they were trying to communicate without words.

Silvie let out the smallest of smiles, "Dont be."  she breathed...

Then ever so lightly, their lips came together.  The two pulled away seemingly at the same time.  Silvie's heart was racing... she simply stared, Draco having the same reaction.  "Damon's gonna shoot me." he whispered, trying to joke...Silvie shook her head, "Damit Draco, why would he shoot you when he could curse you in a matter of seconds!" she growled in a whisper... the memory of what Damon told her ran through her mind, he would of killed that man from the club if there were no witnesses.  They both were silent.  "I truly am sorry, Silvie." Draco said, looking back at the hearth.  Silvie looked at him, "I know you are." she anwsered, she stood up, Great my best friend... Damon... ugh, I am not desirable its not like I'm Melanie or something! she thought bitterly.  as she began to walk back to the girl's dormetrys.  Draco stood and began to go to his own dormetry.  "And Silvie?"  Silvie didnt turn around but Draco knew she was listening.  "What makes you desirable, is that you dont know how beautiful you truly are." and with that he disappeared up to the dormetrys.  Silvie looked back, and when she did so, Draco had disappeared up the steps.  She smiled lightly before following suit into her own dormetry, and collapsing on the bed.

Severus chuckled again, kissing Melanie back. Oh, how he wish it were this simple, to just stay like this forever. 

"I wonder what Silvie's doing.. Or better yet, what I'm going to do to her..." Damon wondered aloud.

"Shut up, Damon. Go to sleep." Stefan replied, his voice muffled by the pillow. 

((Sorry Chancey love. Relatives were over 'cause of the funeral, and blahh. )8))

Melanie shifted her position to keep the kiss going; she wanted to be like this forever.

Severus growled, his hands leaving Melanie's waist to tug his shirt over his head, the Dark Mark on his left forearm cloudy.

Silvie felt drowsy but sleep would not come to her... her mind was spinning madly, Draco and herself?  No... Damon and herself?  She flipped over and let out a muffled sigh into her pillow.  So much to find, so much to figure out.  Tomorrow would hold the truth.
