He made his way to the door silently, pausing before closing it. "Be back before morning. Don't get caught." Damon heard Stefan tell him just before the door blocked their paths. No, he wouldn't get caught. |

Damon walked through the empty corridors, the darkness inviting him in like he was a shadow himself. His footsteps were silent, making as much noise as the shadows as he sighed to himself. He hadn't felt this much emotion in a long time.
