Melanie had never seen Damon so upset before. She instinctively pulled him into a comforting hug. "I'm sure she didn't kiss him, Damon. She oviously likes you."
We fell through the ice when we tried not to slip.

Melanie closed her eyes. She blushed. She inhaled deeply, then exhaled. "Damnit, how I wish you didn't just say that." Melanie was fighting the urge to kiss him, and it was a strong urge. She felt herself giving in. but she couldn't. She loved Severus. Not Damon...
